I love this Sparkling Raspberry Green Tea recipe!
It is one of the BEST green tea recipes! I love having this outside in the garden while reading a book. Not only is this really easy to make, but it is so refreshing too. Something about sparkling tea in the sunshine is just the best combination! Green tea has some many wonderful benefits too. I drink it daily for my health!
When I bought these cute glasses as a thrift store, I felt like I was transported back into the 50s or 60s. Sitting outside in the garden, sipping on iced tea, and enjoying the simplicity of the day. Everytime I use them, I get that feeling and I LOVE it.
My grandmother always talked about ice tea parties they would have decades ago on a hot summer day day under the big oak trees! Of course, they always had regular black Texas sweet tea, but I thought I would recreate that ambiance with this vintage sparkling raspberry green tea recipe!
P.s – I share tea recipes all the time on instagram!
Sparkling Raspberry Green Tea Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lemon squeezed
- 1 tbsp raspberry syrup (This Torani® Raspberry Syrup is my favorite) (OPTIONAL)
- 2 green tea bags
- 8 oz of boiling water
- 1 packet of stevia (or sweetener of your choice)
- Sparkling water (flavor of your choice)
Directions:
Steep the two tea bags in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Remove the tea bags, then allow it to cool to room temperature (or pop in freezer for a few minutes). In a tall glass, squeeze the lemon, add the sweetener and raspberry syrup. Stir well. Add in your green tea and some ice cubes. Top off with some sparkling water! I like to use about 4 oz, but it is up to you!
Tip: You can also smash up raspberries to add in this instead of syrup.
Something about sparkling tea in vintage glasses…perfect for out on the patio! Very reminiscent of days when people had fancy afternoon tea on porch with friends or evening garden parties 🙂 And drove around in perfect pink cars 🙂
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer!

I drink green tea daily too. I make it hot in the morning with fresh squeezed lemon juice and honey. In cold form, I do the same and let it chill. So many good things in it for you. This recipe looks like a win too. Going to have to try it too.

Thanks Michelle! Let me know if you make it 🙂 I agree, hot in the mornings with lemon is so good. Especially in the winter 🙂 Have a great day!

This looks delicious Alexis. I usually drink one mug of hot black tea at work to get me going, then it’s water for the rest of the work day. I like green tea for a nice afternoon pick me up or to cleanse te palate after dinner or dessert. Have you tried the green tea with toasted brown rice in it? delicious – adds a light toasted nutty taste. I know it’s in the Asian markets but don’t know if you can find it regular markets. Sometimes called “gen mai tea”. Enjoy your day!

I have tried green tea once but didn’t like it
Alexis says
I used to not care for it much either, but if it is made just right it can be really good 🙂 It’s best not steeped for long as well.
