This time of year I am drawn to all things bright, pink, cute, and anything that can be used in the kitchen! Since Memorial Day is right around the corner, I feel like summer is officially on it’s way.
I was browsing online last week, and I couldn’t get over how many ADORABLE items they have out these days. My mom and I were remarking how they just didn’t make cute stuff like this when I was younger. Everything was just plain, you know? Sometimes we will be out and about looking at stuff, and we will find an item that would have been perfect back in the day. I even feel that way about school supplies. They definitely didn’t have that cute stuff when I was a kid. We had Lisa Frank…and that was about it!
One of my favorite things we did every summer was make a batch of cherry kool-aid (my FAVORITE), then pour it into ice cube trays. We would stick tooth picks in it, then freeze. On a hot summer day, that was the perfect treat outside. Sometimes, I would just put the kool-aide ice cubes in a bowl and eat the entire thing! Good times 🙂
I am loving all these cute little summer items for your kitchen, especially those cute ice cube trays. You could really freeze some fun stuff in those!
That popsicle recipe I posted yesterday would work great with those popsicle molds! These are so great for kids too!

I really love that milkshake cup too! Last year, I picked up some vintage milkshake cups at the store and used them for so many things, like this healthy yogurt parfait. They also make great cups for floats, like this fun old-fashioned cream soda float.

I love little gadgets… so cute… and where would I use them… I received dolphin ice cube molds many years ago… still haven’t deployed them, but don’t have the heart to get rid of them either. Sigh… So many gadgets, so little time… LOL. Enjoy your day!
