Can you believe itโ€™s been almost six months since Amelia was born? I seriously canโ€™t believe it! She will be six months on the 16th.

I havenโ€™t shared a personal post in awhile, so I thought I would check in and share some recent updates.

Last month, I shared the life of a 4 month old baby post, and everyone enjoyed it! Things have already changed since then.

It is amazing how quickly babies change!

Things She Is Learning

Amelia is learning to sit up! She can pull herself up to sitting, but still a little wobbly trying to sit. She is getting ready to crawl too. She pushes her body up when sheโ€™s on her tummy, and she will almost get on her knees!

This girl is fascinated by food! She watches us eat and reaches for everything. If Iโ€™m drinking a water bottle, she always wants to hold it!

Things She Is Loving

Sheโ€™s been trying some solids and loving it now.

Amelia enjoys stroller rides around the neighborhood. We are finally getting some nice fall weather, so she and I love heading out for a morning walk.

She also loves porch swinging. We go out every afternoon to swing with Ruger. She has so much fun! We also watch Ruger run around eating grass and being silly lol

Another thing Amelia likes is snuggling.

Oh and she had a blast looking for pumpkins a few weeks ago! She was giggling and cooing while we walked around the farmers market. The pumpkins were fascinating to her ๐Ÿ™‚

Dislikes

Going to bed at night LOL! We are working on that, and sheโ€™s getting better at sleeping in her crib.

She gets scared around new people, but warms up quickly as long as she can see me.

Oh she really hates getting boogies sucked out of her nose! It always makes her mad ?

Poopy diapers. She will definitely let you know when her diaper is dirty!

Items We are Loving

As Amelia gets older, sheโ€™s becoming more and more engaged. She really loves her toys. The mat is still a daily thing for her. She can now reach up and pull the toys. We also have this little chair she likes!

Bibs! She is in the teething process, so she has so much drool! To prevent rashes, we do bibs constantly. Velcro Bibs are the best.

The swing! This swing is a lifesaver. She enjoys the music it has too. Itโ€™s how I get anything done in the house during the day.

Onesies. She lives in onesies 95% of the time.

Bows! We do bows anytime sheโ€™s going outside or somewhere on an outing. I love these little head wraps and also these lace flowers. They are gentle on her head and wonโ€™t dig into it (she has a chubby head lol).

Ooga Bowls! If you follow us on Instagram, I shared the info on these products recently  Amelia is starting solids, so I really love these soft silicon bowls for her. I love that they have lids too! If you have an HEB near by, definitely check them out! If not, you can shop at HEB.com and purchase them soon! My readers can use the code HEB to get 20% off also. Read more on instagram.
