80 degree weather in February!

I don’t mean to brag, but we have been having the warmest 80 degree weather in February!

In fact, the high tomorrow is 89?! Honestly, the weather this time of year in Texas can range from snow and ice to warm summer like temperatures. This is the warmest we have had in awhile. Some say it looks like winter is over, but I know we will probably have another round of cold.

When we moved into our home 3 years ago on March 2nd, the high was 10 degrees and it iced for two days after. So, you never know with us lol

Either way we are enjoying it while it lasts! I shared on snapchat (add me! username alexisroch) and instagram our super bowl treats, but popcorn was definitely there. We have a popcorn machine that makes the freshest popcorn. I also use coconut oil and pink Himalayan salt. for the seasoning. So delicious!

80 degree weather in February!

Since we definitely haven’t used our fireplace in awhile, I decided to add some fresh color since it feels like spring. This coral hydrangeas are always my favorite color!

80 degree weather in February!

You probably saw this little sneak peak on snap, but I can’t wait to share this recipe in a few weeks. This is a rosewater green tea scrub! Perfect for face and hands, or all over.  It is so soothing for your skin and smells heavenly. Stay tuned for this recipe soon!

If you love making your own scrubs, check out this post from Monday on saving your coffee grounds!

80 degree weather in February!

I’ve still be playing around with my new zoom lens. My favorite thing in taking pictures of birds while I am inside the house. I never get to see them so close up!

80 degree weather in February!

Ruger has been loving all this warm weather to because he gets to go to the dog park to play fetch! I have to carry a gallon of water with a bowl for him when we go because he wears out so fast lol When you are that short and weigh 90 pounds, cardio can be tough 🙂

For those that love our homemade cleaning solutions, you can see our newest one here for cleaning your natural stone tiles…the right way!

And the giveaway is still going on! It will end on the 13th 🙂 See the original post here for details. And feel free to enter below!

This weather is driving me nuts! I want it to just stay 80. Heck I’d take 65-70. This 80 one day & 30 the next though is killing me. Even this weekend it’s supposed to be 80s Sat but 60s Sun. I hope you enjoy the 80 degree day!

I totally agree! The fluctuation in weather gets old…i’d take a cooler day in the high 60s as long as it stayed that way!!

Your new zoom lens really shows the beauty of that little bird. Our weather is a little cooler than usual today at 66 degrees this morning. Being in the South, we appreciate days like this & getting to wear different clothes. It will be hot again soon though but that is alright. Have a wonderful week-end!

Oh, the weather sounds quite nice. It’s gotten a bit warmer around me here and there but nothing in the 80’s yet. I don’t need it to be super hot. I just want some nicer weather so I can go outside more.

Happy Friday and summer in winter… We’ve finally got the rain stopped in CA, and looking forward to a few days of dry… The coral hydrangeas look wonderful, and I’m curious about the green tea scrub. So good to see Ruger! He’s a happy boy. Enjoy your weekend! 🙂

What a sweet little bird and fat bulldog……! 80 is a bit warm but not unusual, i recall the feb you turned 4…… we had a party planned at the city park due to the warm week we had , and that very afternoon, a few hrs before the festivities began , a cold front blew in and we had to move the party from the park to the the pizza house, lol. Do you remember? Ha. Love mom
