All about April Flowers. Honeysuckle!

Happy April! I am just going to warn you now, the next few months are going to be a flower extravaganza around here.

Not only do I adore flowers, but each year they get more and more beautiful around the house. Today is all about April flowers! This is the earliest I have seen such pretty blooms. We had such a warm winter with a few freezes, so everything is popping up quicker. You will be seeing more on snapchat too!

The honeysuckle (above) is already blooming and smells so heavenly!

All about April Flowers

The hill in my backyard is full of so many bluebonnets. I just love them! They only last a few weeks, but they are the perfect spring wildflower in Texas!

Roses in April. All about April Flowers

The roses are blooming like crazy right now!

I get questions about my roses all the time and various potted flowers. We had two awesome posts this week to help you!

Roses in April on chemistrycachet.com

The climbing roses in the back look prettiest in April! The weather is still cool in the mornings and sunny in the day, so perfect rose weather 🙂

home workouts

I’ve been trying out more and more home workouts this year, and I shared all my favorite short ones on Tuesday. I am surprised how great the results have been. Doing Pilates most days of the week has really helped my rheumatoid arthritis, especially strengthen my muscles around the joints.

Now that the weather is warm, I am hoping to do more equipment work outside 🙂

Have a great weekend!!

I love your flower photos! My parents have honeysuckle along the side of the front yard and one of my favorite childhood memories is just the smell of them every year when they would bloom. Have a great weekend!

It really is such a great month in Texas (before all the heat sets in!!). They are amazing right now by all the highways. The ones in our back yard are already fading, but they still look amazing in the fields. I love it!! Happy Friday!!!

Happy Friday/weekend! Pretty flowers. Spring flowers are pushing through… watch out! Wish I had something like bluebonnets here in CA; we have our golden poppies. I do have a mug w/bluebonnets though 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

Poppies are so pretty too! Bluebonnets are so special around here, I wish they were more than just early spring! But I guess that’s what makes them even more special. Have a great weekend!

Pretty flowers. Any recommendations for plants that don’t require direct sunlit? I want to put something in our kitchen, which is sort of to the side of two windows.

I really love cane plants! It doesn’t require much sun, and fairly easy to take care of. Here is a link to it and how I take care of my houseplants 🙂
