This entire week has been full of all things summer inspired! Since the first day of summer was Wednesday, I wanted to make sure Chemistry Cachet had some great summery content.
Next week we have some more fun stuff to share including a new 4th of July Recipe !
It has been in the high 90s and even 100 degrees this week, but all the plants are still looking beautiful from the rain. In fact, my backyard smells so amazing from the honeysuckle. Honeysuckle is such an amazing scent in the summer 🙂
All of my geraniums are blooming too. I have so many of them in the backyard, but they are so pretty this time of year. And they grow good in the Texas heat. This coral one is my favorite color.
Summer Content This Week
Check out this homemade bug spray! It is a lifesaver right now
Cleaning your entire home with microfiber cloth!
All the details on visiting Galveston, Texas! Plus some fun pictures from our trip
I’ve shared some of this on snapchat (alexisroch), but my husband has been building a new area in the backyard that is similar to the pergola. It is covered though, and it is going to be our outdoor kitchen area. I will be sharing more soon! Ruger loves to hang out and watch all the building…but only from far away lol
I just finished up reading the House on Tradd Street from my summer reading list! It was really good. I have almost finished up my entire list, so if you have any book recommendations let me know!
I’ve shared this on snapchat and instagram too, but I’ve been doing a new workout class for about a month now. It is all stability ball oriented, and it is one of the best workouts! It is really easy on my joints which is a bonus when my RA is bad. Amazing for core work too!
Next week I have a new 4th of July recipe, a really good article about stevia, and more!
Have a great weekend!

It really is the best! When we first bought this house years ago, I planted some in the backyard right away. Best summer smell 🙂

Happy summer, and all the enjoyment it brings… such a cute picture of Ruger, supervising the outdoor construction. (Daisy did the same when we worked on the fences). Exer-ball workouts are tough – not just for your core, but who thought lifting a ball of air multiple times could hurt?! Enjoy the first summer weekend! It’s finally cooling down here! gasp! 🙂

Ruger loves to watch….from a distance lol Those balls really do so much. My whole body is sore each time I go. We finally hit over 100 degrees today…definitely summer time now.
