July in the garden in Texas. Already the middle of July!

How is it already the middle of July?

The days are really long and hot now, but everything is still so pretty in the yard! Usually this time of year, all the plants are looking pretty rough from the 100 degree heat and lack of rain. I wanted to share some of my favorite blooms right now.

The hibiscus blooms are always my favorite! The coral one is a new type of hibiscus, but I really love the blooms it has!

Texas sage bushes are so pretty almost all year with the purple flowers. I snapped this photo with my zoom lens a few days ago.

I shared some pretty big posts this week on Chemistry Cachet. Thursday was a HUGE post about everything I do to get through an arthritic flare step by step. I talked about one of my favorite fitness classes we have with the stability ball. It is really been a blast doing it the last few months. And my core has gotten so strong, it’s crazy! You can read more on yesterday’s instagram post 🙂

Ruger is such as HOUND dog… He is a good boy most of the time too. We eat snacks alot when he is over…. that’s why he is well behaved over at grandmas.. lol

Such pretty blooms. I love hibiscus’ as well. In fact I have a tattoo of one because they’re such a tropical flower that reminds me of home.

I really love them! I think they are the prettiest blooms. I bet they were gorgeous where you are from!! The only place I have seen them growing wild was in our old neighborhood in california, it was so awesome seeing them all around.
