We are sharing a great list of autumn inspired teas you must try this season!

Fall is the perfect time of year to experiment with new tea flavors. The weather is turning cooler and the leaves are starting to fall. The minute I feel the first bit of crispness in the air, I am usually running to the kitchen to make a warm, delicious cup of tea.

I talk often about my love of coffee and how chemically amazing it is, like delicious homemade cold brew, but before I loved coffee, I was a tea drinker. I grew up on my Grammy’s Texas sweet tea and have loved tea since.

I have been sampling just about every brand and type of fall tea out there for years and I have some favorites that I buy year after year! I also love pairing flavors together, like apple spice tea with apple scones, so I am also sharing some of my favorite pairings too 🙂 Most of these teas I buy on amazon, since I can rarely find them in the stores where I live. I buy my favorites in bulk and they last a few years. They also make great party favors or treats for friends.

During the holidays, I will share with you my favorite holiday teas that I give as gifts too, but now let’s get started on autumn teas!

8 Autumn Inspired Teas You Have To Try This Season!

autumn inspired teas

Bigelow Caramel Apple Tea

This tea taste very similar to apple cider one they used to have (I haven’t been able to find that one in many years)! It has a good apple flavor with a little spice added in. It’s smells like you are in the middle of an apple orchard! This is a black tea, so it is perfect for fall mornings.

Yogi Pumpkin Spice Tea

Pumpkin is a quintessential element of fall, so anything with the word pumpkin on it, I will most definitely try. This is one of my favorite pumpkin teas. The taste of pumpkin is subtle, but just enough to taste it. It also has a great pumpkin spice flavor and scent.  It is fairly sweet on it’s own, so you don’t even need to add anything to it. I usually add a little stevia to it for extra sweetness. This is an herbal tea, so you can enjoy it anytime of day.

Bigelow Pumpkin Spice

Bigelow is one of my top favorite tea brands! It is always smooth without being bitter. This is one I have to buy every fall no matter what. It isn’t as sweet as the Celestial brand, but it has more of a pumpkin flavor. My favorite thing to do with this tea is enjoy with a fresh muffin or scone. It really compliments a sweet treat! I always sweeten this with a little honey.

Bigelow Salted Caramel Black Tea

If you aren’t a fan of apple or pumpkin, then this is for you! It really has a wonderful caramel flavor to it. It is also a black tea, so it is perfect for your morning boost or an afternoon pick me up! For a really great treat, a cup of this sweetened with maple syrup is perfect!

Twinings Spiced Apple Chai Tea

This tea combines two of my favorite autumn flavors: apple and chai tea! Twinings has the best chai teas, but this one tops them all. It smells amazing just taking it out of the wrapper. My mom really like this one and she isn’t much of a tea fan. It can be steeped for 6-8 minutes and almost develops a coffee like flavor. I love adding steamed milk to this one for the perfect autumn drink!

8 Fantastic Autumn Inspired teas

The Republic of Tea Caramel Vanilla Cuppa Cake

Republic of Tea is really good quality tea. This is the kind of tea you make for friends when they come over! Vanilla and caramel are another quintessential autumn combination and they smell heavenly. This taste like a cake in a cup. I love having a cup of this with a warm dessert in the evenings. This one tastes best sweetened with a little honey or even a little brown sugar! I always keep this one on hand during the season!

The Republic of Tea Caramel Apple Red

Another Republic of Tea flavor that is perfect for fall. This is Rooibos tea which is an herbal tea. I thought this tasted just like a caramel apple! I used to not be a fan of rooibos tea, but over the years I have grown to really enjoy the flavor. This tea is really sweet! I only added a bit of stevia when I drink it. This is another fancy tea that is perfect for guests. It has a really pretty reddish color to it also!

Stash Pumpkin Spice Tea

This is a great pumpkin spice tea from black tea, but decaffeinated for those that need less caffeine. This is actually one of my favorite tea brands now. I usually buy it online because it is very rarely in the store, but it is definitely worth it. The mix of spice and pumpkin is perfect, plus you can have it anytime of day since it doesn’t have any caffeine!

I hope you enjoy these amazing autumn inspired teas! What is your current favorite tea?

I love tea! Being Chinese, I grew up drinking black teas, mainly at meals to cleanse the palate and supposedly aid digestion. The black teas tend to be stronger and darker than green and herbal. I am learning to drink other teas and understand their flavors. A new favorite is the Gen Mai tea, which is green tea with roasted rice. You can buy at the supermarket or online – by Yamamoto.

I always grew up drinking black tea as well. I have gotten to where I enjoy green and herbal more now. I love all the flavor combinations!

I have a Russian background and also grew up drinking black teas (earl grey is a staple). They do tend to be strong, and I recently discovered red tea to be a delicious alternative. No bitter aftertaste, no matter how strong you steep it but with the same calming, bold flavour. Try it if you ever have the chance!

These all sound delicious! If I’m going to drink tea, it’s probably because I’ve had enough coffee for the day or it’s late so I want a treat. And the appley, pumpkiny, desserty ones sound amazing! I usually stick with Celestial Seasonings Chai Tea – it tastes great and reminds me of going to Starbucks for a chai latte!

Well hello! … from one tea lover to another! 🙂 I love all kinds of tea. I am Canadian, and grew up on Red Rose Tea (black tea), and oh how I love it. However, I’ve had to back off on the black tea perhaps because of the caffeine in it, and now just drink mostly green and herbal teas. My favorite herbal tea is green chai. I have tried many kinds of tea, and haven’t found one yet that I don’t like. All of your fall suggestions sound wonderful! It is nice to have such a great variety on hand! Enjoyed getting to meet you as I am visiting you from a link from Roses of Inspiration 🙂

Even though I’m a major coffee drinker, I prefer my tea caffeine-free.
I love chai and any tasteful combinations.
Thanks for sharing these ideas. I’ll be looking for some of them over here in Belgium.
