I share coffee recipes all the time because coffee is one of my favorite treats EVER! Is there anything more uplifting and inspiring than a perfect cup of delicious, aromatic coffee?
I think not! Now I love tea two, don’t get me wrong. I was a tea drinker long before I ever discovered a love for coffee. Last week, it was all about this amazing pumpkin chai tea, which I’ve definitely had a few times this weekend 🙂 And I also have an awesome list of autumn teas you need to try this season! So, if you are a tea lover, go check those out and keep reading because there is a special giveaway just for you at the end of this delicious recipe 🙂
But today, we are talking coffee! I experimented with some delicious Torani fall syrups this season, and I found a new favorite, Belgian Cookie! Oh my, it is delicious. It really has the essence of cookie in it.
For the most part, I keep my coffee and tea wholesome with basic ingredients, but sometimes when you are in the mood for a coffeehouse type drink, you need to step it up with some coffee syrups!
Belgian Cookie Coffee
- 8 oz of strong coffee
- 1/2 unsweetened cashew milk
- 2 tbsp Belgian cookie syrup
- sweetener to taste (I use one packet of stevia usually)
- dash of nutmeg
First, combine all the ingredients in a big cup or something you can shake (that is the secret to this!). This is BEFORE it is heated, so ingredients are still cool at this point. Once combined, shake all the ingredients until foamy. Cashew milk is awesome for this!
Heat all ingredients in a mug in the microwave, or on the stove top until warmed. Top with some whipped cream and cinnamon, or another dash of nutmeg.
I always love to shake my ingredients like this because it will make the milk get some foam in it, which is just like a coffee house!
Chemist Tip: If you can’t find this cookie syrup, try using some extracts like I talked about in this post. Extracts are an awesome way to get flavor. Maple extract would be a great substitute!

I love taking a break from work to sit on the couch with some coffee and browse pinterest! It really helps me to refocus when I get back to work too if I take breaks periodically. Are you the same way? I am the type of person who can just work for hours and hours, but it catches up fast, so I am trying to make more of an effort on that.
I shared a similar coffee recipe in my newsletter last month, have you signed up yet? The next one will be popping up in a few weeks with some fun stuff!
