This Blueberries and Cream float is so refreshing this time of year and has the perfect colors for a patriotic celebration.
This is probably one of my favorites to date! Blueberries are so sweet and juicy right now, I bought a few pints at the store and needed to use up some of them before they went bad, so I started experimenting. Blueberries are perfect raw, cooked, and they are especially great when they are blended up in smoothies.
I thought I would take a smoothie one step further, and create a creamier, float like drink! Health is important to me as I have mentioned, so I made sure this was not only delicious, but good for you too 🙂
Blueberries & Cream Float
♥1/2 cup ripe blueberries
♥1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or milk of your choice)
♥1/2 cup greek yogurt (any kind you choose, I used plain)
♥1 packet stevia (read this post on stevia!)
♥1 bottle of blueberry flavored water
♥Optional : 1 tbsp of blueberry preserves
Blend all ingredients except the flavored water. It will probably be pretty thick, but that’s good! This gives it the float like texture 🙂 Add to a tall glass, and top with about 8-10 oz of your blueberry water! Top with whipped cream and fresh blueberries!
I made this a few times last week and it was so refreshing! I am going to make it again on the 4th of July too!

Good morning Alexis! This looks delicious. I have an abundance of blackberries and strawberries on hand – should be ok to substitute for the blueberries? Where Idid you get the blueberry water? Love your posts and blog. I found you through a linkup – just can’t remember which one – but so glad I did. Have a great day!
Thank you Laurie! I am so glad you found my blog 🙂 Yes, you can definitely use strawberries! I use different fruits even blackberries. I get my flavored water from the grocery store. Usually by the gallon waters or fruit juices, depending on your store. I like the brand Hint, but I have also used generic brands. Really anything you find would be great! Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂 Have a great day!
