Smoothie season is in full swing around here, and I have had so much fun creating different mixture and flavors this season!
I have started sharing different combinations on instagram the past few weeks, and everyone was really curious about this pretty pink one I posted!
This smoothie is full of sweet strawberries, creamy almond milk, and some thick almond butter. I always feel like this is more of a milkshake versus a smoothie, but it is really good for your too! I love this in the morning and it keeps me energized all morning and full until lunch.
Definitely the perfect combination!
This is my favorite almond milk to use for smoothies. It doesn’t contain any necessary chemicals or carrageen like many do. Silk cashew milk is another great choice for smoothies. I had a question from someone the other day asking about the fat content of almond milk. She asked why I liked to use it and didn’t it contain a large amount of fat?
The answer to that is it actually does not! A one cup serving contains about 30 calories and a 2.5 grams of fat, so it is really good for you, without containing too much fat!
I am sharing this delicious recipe over at Mary’s Blog today! Come see the full recipe details here!
Enjoy!!

Wow this sounds delicious especially for Strawberry season! Did you use frozen or fresh strawberries?
Alexis says
I always use fresh! But you can definitely use frozen! It will be more thick with frozen, but just as tasty!!
