Cold Brew Coffee Popsicles on Chemistry Cachet

These cold brew coffee popsicles are the perfect treat on a hot day!

Cold brew is a unique coffee because it is very smooth and less acidic than hot brewed coffee. It makes these popsicles have the perfect flavor!

I love popsicles in the summer! They are one of my favorite treats. If you follow me on instagram, I am always sharing popsicle recipes and ones I buy.

Here is the easy recipe!

Cold Brew Coffee Popsicles

Homemade cold brew coffee popsicles

Remember when I shared with you this easy DIY Vanilla Cold Brew?

I decided to turn it into a popsicle!

I can’t believe it is already August. To me, August is the last true month of summer. Weather wise, we continue to get summer like temperatures well into October, but in spirit, summer is coming to a close.

I definitely want to savor summer though, so I decided what better way than to make a popsicle!

Ingredients
  1. 3/4 cup cold brew coffee (see notes below for recipe)
  2. 1/4 cup water
  3. 1 tbsp creamer
  4. 1 cup milk
  5. sweetener to taste if desired
Instructions
  1. Mix up all the ingredients. If you want to use sweetener, add it in last to taste.
  2. Pop into a popsicle mold overnight.
  3. To remove, make sure to run under hot water for a few seconds so they slide out easier!

Make Your Own Cold Brew

Making your own cold brew is really easy! I have a few different recipes I use and enjoy. Here are my favorites:

  • DIY Vanilla Cold Brew
  • Mocha Cold Brew

The Mocha cold brew recipe uses a french press method which is really convenient to do. The Vanilla one uses a jar method. Either one is great!

You can also use your favorite store-bought cold brew 🙂

What Makes Cold Brew Different

Cold brew uses an infusion method, so it eliminates any heat in the brewing method. This allows for a smoother, less acidic coffee. I really love using it for popsicles because it doesn’t have an aftertaste or any bitterness!

More Great Information on Coffee!

Did you know coffee is actually good for your health too?? It is! Here is some more information on coffee for your health!

Don’t throw out those coffee grounds when you are done! Save them for something fun. Here is a list of all the things you can do with coffee grounds 🙂
