I love mornings! They are so beautiful and peaceful especially in the summer months when the days are so hot, mornings are the best time to be outside. You can read 6 more reasons I love mornings here 🙂
Warm mornings, or mornings when you are in a rush to get out the door, I love an easy no-bake breakfast that is healthy, fast, and delicious!
This is my go-to recipe that fits the bill for all that!
This is obviously a recipe you can tweak to your liking. I love switching out the yogurt or even adding in different fruits!
Early Morning Banana Pudding Breakfast Parfait
♥ 1 (6oz) container of banana greek yogurt (I actually found banana pudding yogurt HEB brand)
♥ 1 cup of your favorite cereal
♥ Handful of almonds
♥ 1/4 tsp banana extract (I love this Pure Banana Extract)***
♥ 1/2 tsp coconut oil
♥ 1 medium banana, sliced
Optional: Crushed vanilla wafers
Optional : Whip cream
First, mix the extract, yogurt, and coconut oil until well combined. In a parfait cup or glass, put a layer of cereal down. Next layer some sliced banana, then some yogurt. Repeat until your ingredients are finished. On top add sliced banana and almonds, then some whip cream. If you want vanilla wafers to make this really like banana pudding, crush those up with your cereal layer 🙂
**Chemist Tip– I love adding extracts to recipes. They are an easy, affordable, calorie free way to add flavors to anything!

Another really fun option is to turn this into a smoothie with some almond milk! That is really the perfect on the go treat 🙂

Good morning Alexis! This looks delicious and super easy to put together! Perfect not just for breakfast but also for a healthy afternoon snack. My regular go to breakfasts are oatmeal with fruit and nuts, whole wheat muffin with peanut butter and sriracha sauce (don’t wince) with apples on top, or cereal with fruit. Oh, and the eggy pancake in the mug.
I am glad to know that Ruger loves fruit.; I thought my dog was an exception. Every morning after her regular meal Ann has a small amount of fruit – apples and strawberries are faves, but she loves pears, bananas, peaches , and blueberries too,
Have a fab day!
