We’ve got a great dairy-free gluten-free summer brunch idea to share with you today! The summer brunch series is still in full swing on Chemistry Cachet! Plus, I have a free menu you can print out to use for your brunch too!
Even if you don’t use all of these recipes, these dairy-free gluten-free summer brunch ideas are great to have on hand. They make everything come together nicely!
Perfect Dairy-Free Gluten-Free Summer Brunch
Refreshing Drinks
All meals need a nice refreshing drink, but brunch in particular needs something good! In the summer, cool and refreshing is key! If you follow my instagram, you have seen this tea drink I make ALL the time! I jazzed it up for the summer brunch.
I used the base for this Sparkling Raspberry Green Tea and this time I mixed up the tea with some lemon black tea too! I also quadrupled this recipe! We topped it off with sparkling coconut water.
Fancy water is always perfect for brunch. Infused water is easy to make! Just add in your favorite fruits (citrus is always good) and ice. Allow to sit for a few hours before serving.
Fresh Fruit
All breakfast and brunch needs nice fresh fruit sitting out for everyone to enjoy. In the summer, berries, watermelon, cherries, and even peaches are the perfect addition!
Protein Based Main Course
Since this is all about ALLERGY-FREE brunch ideas, it is important not to use eggs. This makes it a little difficult for brunch ideas, but this sweet potato breakfast hash is so delicious! It is really filling too, so you never miss the eggs. You can jazz up this recipe with all types of summer veggies too!
Additional Main Course
It is always good to have some other type of dish for the main course. For our allergy-free brunch, we went with a watermelon mint fruit salad. Recipe on Just Betty Blog!
Sweet Treats
A brunch always needs some type of dessert or sweet treat. I love making donuts! Like these strawberry ones or these vanilla glazed ones! These delicious double chocolate donuts for this brunch will be on Chemistry Cachet Monday morning, so pop back in for that recipe. You don’t want to miss that because these chocolate ones were incredible!
The other sweet treat for this brunch was a frozen fruit cake with cherry raspberry jam. I wanted something good for a hot summer day that featured all the amazing fruit in season right now. They are the perfect treat for brunch.
Cute Decorations
The last elements for a brunch is the decorations. Simple, sweet details are always the best. Our theme for this was rustic, farmhouse and vintage! You can see the exact details of our decor on Just Betty Blog!
Having fresh flowers is always a must too. I love buying some and using fresh ones from my yard! If you pick them from your yard ,make sure to read these chemist tips to extend the life of fresh cut flowers 🙂
Another cute decoration is to have the menu printed out by the place settings so everyone can see what they will be served. We have a free printable for this menu that you are welcome to use!
The last installment for this series will be Monday with an amazing chocolate donut recipe you DON’T want to miss!!

You’re so good! For someone with many food allergies, life must really be a challenge. You’ve made the food sound delicious and the table is beautiful. Did you build that neat wooden table?
Alexis says
It can definitely be a tough challenge making a brunch for food allergies! I was excited to work on this project so everyone could have a fun brunch this summer!!!

Hi Stacey! Saw that you asked about the wooden table, I actually purchased it from Restoration Hardware. It is supposed to be a desk actually!! But when I saw it, all I could think of was a kitchen table. So glad you enjoyed it!
