I’ve received several questions about items from our bedroom the last few months, so I thought I would share a quick blog post for you to reference. These our our favorite master bedroom purchases over the few years.

It takes me forever to make a purchase for something because I always do a lot of research first. Like our mattress took many months to buy because I spent many hours looking at reviews, what worked best for the the type of sleep, the environment, etc.

All of these items make our bedroom a comfortable and cozy spot to be!

Favorite Master Bedroom Purchases

Most of these I have shared on Instagram over the last few years, and I continue to get follow up questions on things. I think a blog post is a great way to reference items and be able to come back anytime.

Some of the other items in our bedroom we love is my 1950s vintage mid-century modern dresser. I found it years ago on Facebook, and we redid it. We also have a custom bookshelf a local company made for us many years ago.

Nightstands

I love these nightstands we purchased from Overstock. They are mid century modern to match my vintage dresser, and they are great! They have the best drawers that are large enough to hold things, places for books, and large enough in size to hold a big lamp plus anything else you keep on your night stands.

Comforter/Quilt

We bought this beautiful quilt set from Boll and Branch this year. I have gotten many questions about it! It is very good quality. I purchased the pewter color. My friend has the white which is also really pretty.

Soft Pillows

These mustard yellow circular pillows feel like velvet, and everyone loves them! I found them at Hobby Lobby first, but they also have them on Amazon in several colors.

Velvet Ottoman

This velvet storage ottoman is one of my favorite purchases. I actually bought this several years ago, but used it in the bathroom. When we moved to our new house, I decided to use it in the master bedroom. I store blankets it in. It matches the Boll and Branch quilt perfectly too.

Mattress

Hands down the best purchase we have ever made for our bedroom is this mattress. I used to have so much pain on my side, hip, and knees with our old mattress. After purchasing this, my husband and I both sleep wonderfully each night. It was an investment for us because I have never spent this much money on a mattress, but it was worth it! If you are in the market for a mattress, I would check this one out.

Soft Affordable Sheets

These sheets from Amazon are another favorite purchase. We have them in tan and white. They are a cheaper alternative to some of the luxury brands! Very soft and cool while you sleep. I also am a huge fan of the NTBAY sheets which I shared on IG last year. We bought the dark gray and they are incredibly soft and cool too.
