Beautiful Purple Dahlias on chemistrycachet.comHow is it ALREADY Friday? Not that I’m complaining, but I felt like this week just flew by. Did you feel that way too? I am sad to say we’ve been experiencing really hot weather again, almost 100 degrees for many days this week. The good news is, I have been seeing subtle hints of fall colors popping up, so I am praying we get some fall weather soon 🙂 Until then, I’ve just been pretending it is like that! Onto my Five Favorite Things this week.

One. See that beautiful Dahlia above? My husband and I had an impromptu day date this week. We headed over to the Dallas Arboretum (Part of our Fall List!), and it was so much fun. The pumpkin displays were amazing, but I was even more enchanted with the gorgeous gardening. I haven’t seen Dahlias this beautiful in awhile. #horticulturenerd 😉

Bulldog SelfieTwo. Ruger only likes to go outside in the mornings and evenings when it’s cooler. He has the best time laying in the grass chewing on his toys. He destroys most toys within a few hours, but this one he has had a few months. I highly recommend this KONG Squeezz Stick Dog Toy he’s had it for months!

Wedding FarewellsThree. My friend who got married this summer got her wedding photos back this week! We’ve been friends since we were about One or two years old, so it was a really sweet time. I loved this one of us saying goodbye!

Best part of caramel apples...eating them!Four. Many of you were asking about my caramel apple recipe! I posted it yesterday, here is the recipe. My mom and I had a blast making these. And we totally had batched that turned out terrible, we did more laughing than anything 🙂 My husband can’t have any dairy, so one of these recipes was especially for him. He really enjoyed them! I will be making them again for Halloween!

Five. We have a really awesome giveaway going on for a TARGET gift card! Target is seriously the best place to be right now…there fall stuff is the best! Enter Below!

I’ve teamed up with 7 other wonderful bloggers to give you a $200 Target Shopping Spree! Because you’d look really good with some new fall booties, blanket scarf, and well everything else that Target has to offer. Enter in the rafflecopter below.

Happy Weekend! I hope you enjoy it!

Ugh yes–obviously not quite as hot here as in TX, but we’ve had a bout of hotter weather the last week or so. Ready for things to cool down for good! Thanks for the dog toy rec–mine destroys bones almost instantly!
