Chemistry Cachet's Five Favorite Things From The Week

It has been a long week, but a good week. We had a little cold front hit Texas and saw some lower temperatures. And by lower temperatures I mean a high for 90 🙂

Festive lights1. I am so excited to finally get the lights hung in our new pergola. Next week I am going to share with you all the details! It is the perfect place to sit outside. Porch Swing, twinkle lights…now for fall weather and we will be set!

So, what does a modern day chemist do Chemistry can be fun! chemistrycachet.com2. Did you see my post on Wednesday about What I do? I get asked all the time what I do for a living as a chemist. I loved sharing it with you and I love learning more about everyone else to, so I would love to know what your career is too! I also working on a new Ask Me series involving all things chemistry, life, health, etc. I get emails all the time about stuff, so I thought it would be fun to start sharing some of that.

3. I know I have said it a lot, but I am so excited for fall…I get carried away on pinterest pinning fall inspiration. My friend and I are currently planning a pumpkin themed craft party for next month. I can’t wait to share that with you too! I’d love it if you followed me on pinterest to see all my autumn inspiration 🙂

4. We have been watching the Cowboy’s preseason games and we are really looking forward to football seasons official start!  Another thing to love about this time of year!

Ruger the Bulldog chemistrycachet.com5. Favorite things from the week isn’t complete with a bulldog picture. We took him to the park to play fetch, his favorite game ever. This is how he chills at the water fountain! I guess it’s comfortable lol. #rugerthebulldog.

What are your plans for the weekend? Are you a football fan?

Happy Friday Alexis and family! Seems like it was a long time coming. So glad it’s “cooler” in TX. LOVE the twinkly lights in your pergola – can’t want for all the details. I’m all about the fall season too – nice variance of temps in a day, layers, crispy air… Not really a football fan – I’m a baseball widow (does that count?) Love the pics of Ruger… Have a great weekend!

Hi Laurie, I hope you have a wonderful weekend! It is back up to the mid 90s again, but the cooler rain was so wonderful. Made us even more excited for fall 🙂 We’ve always been big football fans, but most Texans are haha. I enjoy the food and friends just as much as the game though. I know your husband is a big baseball fan! Have a good Saturday!

I’m a summer girl myself (I don’t live in the hot south, though!). But there are a lot of great things to look forward to in the fall. The lights on your porch are pretty!

I think I would enjoy summer much more if it wasn’t so hot here! I loved summer more than any season when I lived in California 🙂 Thanks so much Jamie! Have a great day!
