What a busy week! I don’t know about you, but I am so glad it is Friday!
I had many favorites this week. First off, I made my fall reading list this for the season and already got started on it during some rainy days we had this week. I also have a post ready to go for some great cozy books to read this fall! I look forward to sharing it with you. I dug through a ton of old books to pick out some ones I enjoyed previous falls 🙂
Secondly, Ruger got a treat in the mail this week from chewy.com! I was so excited to try out these Boo Bars. He LOVES pumpkin anything (just like his mom), so I knew he would loves these. The minute I pulled them out, he knew it was for him! He was incredibly excited and he enjoyed them a lot. I will be buying some more of these soon. They are completely natural too, so it is a perfect treat for your fur baby 🙂
I have made it a goal of mine over the next few weeks to get some things done in the yard and garden. By the way, check out this post for my easy garden checklist with free printable! I am getting a head start on that list this year. Anyways, this is a 10 foot tall wall we have by our side yard and this vine grows there wild all on it’s own. I looked up the other day and couldn’t believe how good it was doing through all the 100 degree days we keep having. I love it!
I made this for brunch this past weekend, and they were amazing. I posted the recipe yesterday, and I made them again for a friend who came over for coffee. I love healthy treats that taste amazing!
Lastly, I have been working on a monthly newsletter set to go out starting in October. It will be full of some fun stuff I am working on and things not on the blog. I would love for your to sign up 🙂
And of course, Sunday is the Cowboys first official football game of the season, so we are excited!!!!
What are your plans for the weekend?

Always have to have a Ruger fix, he makes everything better 🙂 Thanks Sheryl, I am excited to get the newsletter started! Have a wonderful weekend!

I subscribed! I cannot wait to read your newsletter. My Chip Chip (puggle) is so picky, she would not eat her boo treats last year. I wish I had a dog I could buy treats for, isn’t that silly? She’s just so “human”. I cannot wait to try your scones, perhaps this weekend while it rains. Have a great weekend!

Thank you Amanda! That is so funny about your dog…Ruger loves most treats, but he is always scared to try new ones lol. I have to pretend I like it too! 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Friday Alexis! I’ve signed up for your newsletter – look forward to getting it! Love your work; you’re so friendly. Ruger is such a sweetheart. Ann would love those treats; maybe when she gets better. Maybe we should make a bet when the Cowboys play the 49ers… 🙂 Have a FABULOUS weekend!

Hi Laurie, Anne would love these when she is better! I hope she gets better soon. We definitely need to make a wager when they play 😉 Have an awesome weekend!
