I love doing my favorite pictures from the week.

It is always fun to look back on all the things I did, even in just a week, it is easy to forget!

This week was all about old friends, health and fun!

Five Snapshots From The Week - Old Friends, Health, and Fun! Country Sunrise in Texas chemistrycachet.com

1. This was probably my favorite picture from the week. The morning sun was just barely peaking through when I was outside watering. Summer sunrises in Texas are always so peaceful before the brutal heat sets in for the day!

2015-07-18 07.21.322. The geraniums are doing so good right now! I have been babying them more than usual with the 100 degree weather. If you missed my tips last week, check out my summer geranium care and my easy tips for potted geraniums.

bff3. Although it was a few weeks late, I finally got together with one of my best friends for her birthday. If you remember, she is the one from my summer memory 🙂 We’ve been friends for 27 years and we always pick up right where we left off!

strawberries4. Strawberries are so good right now! They were on sale, so I bought a few pints. Eating healthy is so easy in the summer when the fruit is so good! Did you get a chance to read my researched nutritional tips yesterday? I was so excited to finally share these tips with you. Even if you don’t have health problems, they are good tips to have 🙂

summer day on the lake chemistrycachet.com5. You wouldn’t think by looking at this picture that it was a 100+ degree day yesterday, but it was hot! I love this view of the lake when I go to the doctor though…it is always beautiful!

What are your plans for the weekend? I will be playing catch up on everything and working on some baby shower invitations! Have a great weekend

I agree – fresh fruits in season are the best. I try and freeze what I can for the upcoming season when you can’t get them. Not the same, but great in smoothies. Wishing you a terrific weekend full of fun and crossing off the to-do list.

I love how the sun is peaking through the trees in the first picture and you are so right that one looks at the picture of the water and has no idea it was so hot! Hope you have a fantastic weekend (and stay cool).

It’s funny how you can see so much from a picture…except what it feels like 🙂 I hope you have a great and relaxing weekend!

Happy weekend Alexis! Love your nature pictures – so much greenery, which is a rare sight around California these days… And the geraniums look fabulous. I am working on mine. 🙂 I am going to the farmers market tomorrow for strawberries and leafy green veggies, and the sweetest bicolor corn. Have a great weekend!
