My very last Friday post of July…

Here’s my five favorites from the week.

Mom and baby

1. We got to spend some time at Ruger’s grandmas house (my parents house 🙂 ). We always try to get a good picture together, but it isn’t always successful. He’s just a biggggg baby!

Bulldog love chemistrycachet.com2. When I am in the kitchen cooking, Ruger always brings a toy with him to hang out… he’s so sweet 🙂

Beautiful Geranium Bloom chemistrycachet.com3. Despite the intense (105 degrees) heat in Texas, my plants are surviving. This is one of my favorite geraniums! Did you see my post on Tuesday about our corner garden?

Summer fruit crisp chemistrycachet.com4. I’ve been working on a new summer crisp recipe and I can’t wait to share it with you! It is so easy, healthy and delicious! Look for it in a few weeks on the blog! Even though it is so hot in Texas, I am loving all the fresh summer fruit to bake with 🙂

painting5. Although, this wasn’t on my summer to do list, my friend and I finally got to take a painting class last night! It was so much fun, and turned out great! Do you follow me on Instagram? I will be posting our finished product today 🙂

What are your plans for the weekend? We are going to finish our pergola and start building a porch swing for it 🙂

Happy Friday Alexis! It’s been a tough week for me, so I am thankful this work week is ending. There’s deck work planned for the weekend, but that’s ok. Your painting turned out fabulously and it sounds like you had a great time. Fruit crisp – yum. Can’t wait to see your pergola! Have a great weekend!
