Is it really Friday?

It seems like the weeks really start flying by after the 4th of July!

Here are my favorites from the week.

Marine Corps Love Story chemistrycachet.com

1. Yesterday was our 8th anniversary and I shared our love story. I can’t believe it has been that many years since we said I do in a little country church!

Thank you Chewy.com2. I don’t know how he knows, but when the doorbell rings with Ruger’s chewy.com package, he gets so excited! Before we even open the door, his tail is wagging (or rather his stub 😉 )!

I always let him open the package on his own (with a little help from me!). This month he got a KING size knuckle bone by Blue Buffalo. Ruger is a huge chew fan, so the bigger the better! He immediately went to town on this, and is still working on it. He has about half of it gone so far.  This is a great bone for your money!  We go through a few bones a week in this house, so it is good to have something that lasts long 🙂

Cold Brew Sneak Peak3. I have been experimenting with some cold brew methods for the past few months. I love having it in the summer, but it is fairly expensive to buy all the time. I finally found a combination that I really like, so that is coming up on Monday. Stay tuned! 🙂

Outside4. I love sitting outside under the pergola in the mornings to read or relax before it gets hot. Ruger loves to hang out too, and constantly wants to share my drink (drinking some iced green tea in this picture). And play fetch, hence the dirty tennis ball he put on the chair 🙂 He’s a mess!

61SEnuHU-rL._SL1000_5. The next step in the backyard project is to string up our twinkle lights. I am doing a post next week on some of the elements we are adding to the yard for a more whimsical, romantic feel.

How was your week? I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Happy Friday. Could your furry one be any cuter? I love the photo of you attempting to read. I know it’s really all about him!

Happy Friday and weekend Alexis and family! Oh, Ruger is such a cutie – look at him go at that bone! And don’t we do everything for our pups – our fur babies. Ann will give me a head tilt (the “whatcha doin” look) that makes me drop everything and pay attention to her… Looking forward to seeing pics of your backyard with the twinkly lights! Have a fabulous weekend!

We did a Chewy order once too and I teased them a bit before I opened it. They go nuts. Two small dogs barking can make one deaf. The lights look so romantic out back, I bet you both have peaceful evenings there. Great Friday recap! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Aw, I bet that was sweet seeing them go crazy. Ruger is so quit and still when I show him his new treat. He is almost like a statue lol. Have a great Sunday evening!

It is from the website chewy.com, they do a promotional news letter each month and you get a free sample to review 🙂 Ruger LOVES it…he loves new toys & treats as often as possible! Thanks Carrie, hope you have a wonderful day!
