Our ninth anniversary was on Saturday and we just decided to have some downtown Fort Worth fun. And it was!
It is so hot in Texas right now, the best part of the day is in the morning. So, we headed down there mid morning to see a movie and have lunch.
The AMC theater downtown is amazing and literally the most comfortable movie situation. I love to lounge out in a theater! We saw Ghostbusters, which was amazing! I was a little hesitant on how it would be since we are huge Ghostbuster fans. I was very pleased with it and can’t wait to see it again!
I can’t go to the movies without popcorn (even in the morning lol), so we shared some!
We had lunch at the Flying Saucer which is right by the theater. If you ever go to downtown Fort Worth, this place is totally worth trying. They have these huge baked pretzels for appetizers. All the food is delicious too!
We walked around for a bit until it got to hot. I just love downtown Fort Worth! It is always beautiful and has so many unique aspects. I especially love it at Christmas when it’s all lit up!
The next morning we had a big breakfast just for fun. Let’s talk about this cinnamon roll we shared…it was as big as the plate! I never eat sweet stuff like that, but it was really good.
We don’t usually do gifts for our anniversary, but my husband got me some beautiful flowers. My two favorites, hydrangeas and roses! I can’t wait to use all those rose petals for this sugar scrub!
This was a big week on Chemistry Cachet too! In case you missed it don’t forget to check out this watermelon milkshake, this huge list of supplements/vitamins for health, these key lime pie bars AND our coffee table!
I hope you enjoy the weekend! My friend and I are going back to downtown Fort Worth tomorrow for an afternoon tea! Sharing all the details on snapchat (alexisroch)!

Happy Friday! Your anniversary date looks like it was fun. And such pretty flowers… Can we talk about all that glaze that the cinnamon roll is “swimming” in? I haven’t done an afternoon tea outing in so long – and I have a Tea Room right here in my city! Looks like I’ll have to do something about that! Have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
