Fast Easy 4th of July Ideas! Make a banner out of paper plates! MoreCheap and cute 4th of July ideas on chemistrycachet.com that you can do LAST minute too!

Since it is the Friday before the 4th of July, I thought I would bring you some super fast easy 4th of July Ideas that you can do in no time!

The 4th of July ALWAYS sneaks up on me, and before I know it, that day of the year is already here!

I’ve talked about it before, but my parents have a great spot that overlooks their pond and the city fireworks go off right behind it! They have been doing a party since 1996 and I just love it. My mom and I have decorated in all different ways with all different things for the last 20 years, but last 4th, we decided to do something fun with these paper plates!

All I did was punch holes on each side and weave some plain thin string in and out of the backs. Then I cute small strips of string and tied it up on the fence! It looked neat and it even blew in the wind, so it was great! We have also hung up this wispy garland before and it looks pretty too!

Fast Easy 4th of July Ideas!

Anything blue and red is obviously fun to make, but this blueberries and cream float from last year is really perfect! It has that blue color and it is so creamy, almost like a milkshake! It is very kid friendly too 🙂

Fast Easy 4th of July Ideas!

I already had a few readers email me saying they made these from my post last week! The possibilities are endless as far as decorating them, but bite sized is the way to go! Great for parties! These are also a great allergy friendly, healthy option!

Fast Easy 4th of July Ideas! Simple lighting solutions like tiki torches and DIY fairy lanterns!

Tiki torches are my favorite type of lighting to have all over the yard, they also keep bugs away which is a plus. I have made a bunch of these DIY fairy lanterns from last year, and they are so pretty to have sitting all over the yard!

Other Food Ideas

Homemade Garden Salsa

Blueberry Cake (could add strawberries too!)

Rustic Summer Fruit Crisp (I have made this with just blueberries and strawberries for red, white and blue!)

This fun allergy friendly cornbread

I hope you have a great 4th of July! I am looking forward to having a nice day with family and taking a break from work too! It is supposed to be a scorcher here in Texas, but that is typical!

Next week is going to be ALL about the perfect summer brunch menu! I have shared many sneak peaks on snapchat (username alexisroch) and instagram of our project from last week. It is going to be so much fun to share and is the perfect allergy friendly menu too! Stay tuned!

Happy Friday and holiday weekend! I cannot believe that we are in July already and that half of 2016 has gone by. Nothing too much planned for the weekend except to .keep the dog sane amidst the fireworks, which are illegal here. Something always going off every evening for the past 2 weeks… Sigh. Wish she could wear ear plugs or be partially deaf during this season. Enjoy your weekend w family!

They do fireworks here for weeks too. We live in the country, so they can legally do it…but it gets little excessive lol. Ruger doesn’t have a clue they are even going on! He is so oblivious to things 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend too!
