Winter SunriseHappy 2018!

We have had a very unusual cold spell here in Texas. NYE was icy and didn’t get above 28, so most people stayed in!

This entire week was super cold, but we finally saw some sun! Winter has some really amazing sunrises though. I snapped this one with my phone the other day, it was so beautiful!

Happy 2018!Every year once we get the Christmas tree up, I go into full on cleaning mode! I made batches of all my homemade cleaners this week. Next week, I am sharing a HUGE DIY cleaning guide. I have been working on it for months and can’t wait to share it!!

Happy 2018! NYE iceWe had a bunch of freezing drizzle on NYE and it was so cold, all the drizzle froze solid. The field across from my kitchen window had so many icy trees, it was so pretty! I hate the cold, but it can definitely be pretty 🙂

Happy 2018! Healthy LivingWe’ve had a lot of readers wanting a healthy living guide from our website, so I have been working on one for a few months. Tuesday we started our “Chemistry Based Healthy Living Series!” Part One was “How Do I Start Eating Healthier.” It is full of super easy tips and tricks, plus a lot of our links to posts that will help you get healthier the easy way!

More from this series throughout the next few months!

Hapy 2018! Ruger hates the cold!Ruger has only seen snow once in his life, he was about 10 months old when it happened. He LOVED It! But other than that, he hates the cold. He just hibernates all day. I lay out a towel wherever I am working, and he just lays down right next to me. He has to have a towel though or his blanket lol

What a gorgeous sky! In VA temperatures are below 20 degrees! We moved back here for the milder climate! Thank you for a well organized very helpful blog. I really appreciate the care you put into it. And after that wonderful baby comes and takes over your life for awhile, relax. And enjoy that special time. Your brain will function again and your facility with language will return. Prayers for the safe delivery of a healthy little guy.

Happy Friday and one week into 2018 already! You look beautiful in the IG photo with the pink print T-shirt. Ruger is a cutie. Daisy too has been a snoozer. Our CA weather has been in the 50s and 60s this week, and now raining. Enjoy your weekend!

Aw, poor Ruger! My dog loves her blankets. We keep one on the couch and that’s where she lays most of the time. haha

Ooh that icy tree is BEAUTIFUL.

I definitely prefer looking at pictures of cold and icy weather scenes to actually experiencing them! haha!
