Happy November! Can’t believe October is over already. I guess it was the really warm weather that made it feel like it wasn’t time for Halloween yet, but it went by too fast.
This year, Ruger was a skeleton. He was NOT happy about the costume at first, but he decided it was okay after wearing it a few minutes lol. Last year he was a Dallas Cowboy, the year before he was a pumpkin. I tried the pumpkin costume on him for this year, but it wouldn’t even button. He was only 40 lbs when he wore it two years ago and now he is 90 lbs….so he has grown a lot!
My favorite part of Halloween is all the trick or treaters we get! Our neighborhood is everyone’s go to in my area, so it’s like a party for all the kids. We have people park all up and down our road to walk the 2 miles around. Ruger loves them too! He sits out front while we hand out candy and just soaks it all in. We didn’t have as many this year since it was a school night, but it was still a good turn out!
Here is some real life for ya….my husband takes the worst pictures of me lol. We were taking different photos during our weekend fall trip to the Texas mountains, and most of them look about like this. He never waits for me to pose or get into a position, so my mouth is open or I am squinting. I was digging through all the photos and found so many horrible ones lol. He takes good nature shots, but he definitely needs to work on people shots 🙂
I have been OBSESSED with making this whipped coconut milk macchiato at home. It reminds me of a really nice coffee shop! You can get the recipe here. You can also enter to win a great giveaway we have for an espresso machine!!!! And a years worth of Torani Coffee Syrups. All you have to do is tweet one thing! It is open for another week so make sure to stop by and check it out 🙂
Lastly, we have another great giveaway going on right now. How awesome is this for Thanksgiving???
So many great things to start of November! Have a great weekend!
