Happy October! This is one of my favorite months out of the year. I just love all the fall inspiration and the weather starting too cool down.
If you follow my snapchat (username alexisroch) or instagram, you saw some tidbits of this pumpkin dip we made for our football party, along with this amazing gluten-free apple cider donuts. I have been making overnight oats since it has still been warm outside. Adding in some pumpkin dip made them AMAZING! Oatmeal is best with fall flavors!
Ruger just adores fall! His favorite thing is to lay outside, chew wood (you can see the remnants of wood pieces lol), and watch the birds. It is pretty sweet!
We love going to the park on my husband’s days off for really long walks. It is so pretty this time of year! We went a few days ago and noticed some very small leave changes….can’t wait for more!
All you snapchat followers know about my morning concoction that I have to start the day with. I am going to be sharing some in depth details on this amazing anti-inflammatory and metabolism boosting drink on Monday! And Tuesday I am sharing all the details on Collagen, which I add to this drink. Stay tuned for that! If you love my chemist solution series on health topics, you can check out Tuesday’s post about Maca root. I love this stuff too!
My favorite part about October is finally seeing these pretty leaves changing and falling. I love a TON of leaves all over the ground, creates the perfect ambiance for reading or walking outside. If you are a fall junky like me, you can check out my cozy autumn reading list from yesterday too. Reading cozy books in the fall is definitely one of the best things about this time of year!
There are a few more days left on our peppermint giveaway, find the details here.
And the Chemistry Cachet newsletter comes out this weekend! This months featured recipe is a really delicious, dense pumpkin pie bread that is gluten-free, dairy-free AND egg-free! But you would never know because it is so yummy!
Happy October!

Happy Fredag (Friday) Alexis! I cannot believe it’s the end of the first week of October already. The leaves are starting to turn colors; soon it’s time to do the raking and storing them for composting during the year. Mr Ruger looks very content with the cooler weather. Looking forward to your newsletter and your posts about improving our health. Enjoy your weekend!

Our dogs chew on wood sometimes, too. Saint also wants to “nibble” on bed sheets, she never makes holes in them. Lovely park!

They are so funny! Ruger just loves wood and the bigger the piece of wood, the better for him lol. He is a 90 lb English Bulldog, but he thinks he can grab 200 lb stumps too 🙂 We just love our park, always so pretty!
