Simplicity is best sometimes, don’t you think? This week was a little hectic, but it was the simple moments I enjoyed most. Like this sunset! We were taking a late walk one evening and it looked like this for a brief moment, but then faded. Luckily I got a good picture π
We had so much rain last weekend from the hurricane that hit Mexico, and some cooler weather which was awesome! I am so excited for Halloween tomorrow. I also have some last minute Halloween inspiration for you this week π
I planted this mum a few weeks ago in my DIY stone cauldron planter and it is finally blooming. I had no idea it would be a pinkish purple, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Now that it is fall and the weather is cooler, everyone has been ordering cookies! I spent some time this week making a bunch. The house smelled amazing! I cannot live without this cookie scoop and these measuring cups when I bake.
I’ve shared some of my FAVORITE Halloween treats this month, so if you need some last minute inspiration for Halloween, check some of these out! // 1. Honey Caramel Apples // 2. Microwave Kettle Corn // 3. Hocus Pocus Potion // 4. The BEST Halloween Movies
Of course I have to include a Ruger picture this week…every time I am in the kitchen baking, he flops under my feet like this trying to get my attention! Sometimes he will lay on his back with his feet straight in the air for a LONG time. He is silly! If you missed it, check out his pumpkin carving experience! I also shared some of our favorite Halloween Memories yesterday π
Happy Halloween! I hope you enjoy the weekend!

I absolutely want to bake ALL THE COOKIES! Having a cookie scoop makes all the difference! Love your measuring cups!
I agree! It does make all the difference. They are the best measuring cups!!
Living in the UK, I was never big on Halloween. I only got into it when I lived in Canada and had kids. Then when I came back to the UK, I found it had caught on here in a big way and has been growing ever since. Your recipes sound amazing but as I can’t eat sugar in any form, all I can do is look!!!
It is always fun to celebrate! I’m sure kids make it even more special π
I love your DIY flower pot cauldron. and your flowers look so pretty! Enjoy your weekend!

The cooler weather has been so nice this week! I’m hoping that it sticks around and we don’t go back to warmer weather to kick off November! Ruger is seriously the cutest, and I love that he keeps you company in the kitchen!
I hope it sticks around too! I look at the extended forecast and I was so excited to see 70s and even 60s, whoo hoo!! Have a wonderful weekend!
Too funny! My kids and my dogs are always underfoot in the kitchen! The best place is to be right by their mommy! Hope you had a wonderful Halloween!

I love those copper measuring cups!!! Those are so pretty. Where did you find them? It would bring such a smile to my face using those for baking π And aren’t mums funny? Sometimes their colors are odd. BUT the purple is a pretty purple! Hope you had a wonderful, festive weekend!
I found them at target! For cheap! But I haven’t seen them again, I wanted to get another set. Mums are so funny! I love how the colors are such a surprise π
