I just can’t believe there are only two days until Christmas! This has been about the fastest Christmas season I can remember.
Anyone else feel so sad when Christmas is over? I do!
I plan on savoring these last few days as much as possible. I thought I would share with you the last of the Christmas inspiration today, including some mantel pictures! I shared details of the Christmas tree a few weeks back you can catch up on here.
I love all the red and gold on the mantel! Definitely my favorite color combination! One of my favorite things at Christmas is watching the sunrise out the side window where the Christmas tree is. The reflection is so pretty and you can see the cows grazing in the background. Even though the tornado in March destroyed that large tree, the one good thing is how well you can see outside 🙂
I did so much baking this week! I made a big batch of chocolate chip cookies and these coconut oil chocolate chip cookies to take to my in laws Christmas celebration we had on Wednesday. My mom and I also did a bunch of sugar cookies this week. And I did more dairy-free sugar cookies since everyone enjoyed them so much!
If you need any last minute gift ideas, we have some fun ones that can be made in minutes!
- Make your own macchiato kit
- Peppermint Sugar Scrub
- Chocolate Coffee Sugar Scrub
- Homemade Dog Biscuits
- Homemade Vanilla Extract
- Homemade Chocolate Extract
- A gift that can be used forever, Chemistry Hacks for Home and Outdoor Ebook!
I gave out all of these as gifts this year for friends and neighbors and they are always a big hit! Especially this vanilla extract. It really takes your cookies to the next level!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas weekend! We will be back Monday with a quick overlook from the year, including all the tops posts 🙂
Merry Christmas!
