Happy Friday! The first week of May already gone, which is crazy! This week was incredibly long, stressful, and interesting to say the least. I’ve told you all about it on snapchat, but thank you to all for your kind words and encouragement! It means so much 🙂
This week I was blown away by the peaceful spring sunrises we had.
I came outside one morning and it almost looked like a painting from my backyard. It was early so there was no cars out and all the cows were grazing, it was such a peaceful scene!
This recipe is coming on Monday! I played around a little bit this week with the flavor, and it turned out great! It has lime, pink salt, cayenne, and some other delicious flavors. Popcorn is truly the best snack ever! Stay tuned on Monday 🙂
I shared on instagram that we went to my parents house over the weekend. Ruger played fetch in their yard because it is so big. He was having the BEST TIME! He just took off for the ball and felt so free. He is so funny to watch when he really gets into it!
Did you read my post on Tuesday about lemons? Definitely check it out! It was all about the awesome benefits of lemon and the scientific research for it. I have been loving iced lemon water with mint now that it is warm. Many have asked about the lemon green tea I make on snapchat sometimes, so I will be sharing that in my newsletter this weekend! There is just something about fresh lemon in an iced drink that is perfect for summer!
There is a house down the road from where I went to junior high and it is a really old, massive home with huge oak trees. I was fascinated by this house when I was little and wanted to know everything about this house and who lived there #architecturenerd . Anyways, we passed by it the other day and they were having an estate sale, so we immediately stopped by. I could NOT get over how huge and old it was inside. It was in bad disrepair which was sad. Most of the things they were selling were from the 1930s and 1940s era! I bought a book…I love buying old books from places like this. I will let you know how it is 🙂
So, how was your week? What are your plans for the weekend?

Thanks girl!!! It is such a delicious and easy recipe, you will love it!!! That is so funny they have a dog named Ruger too. We thought we were being unique when we named him since my husband is a gun person (marines, law enforcement), but I have run into a few people who have that name for their dog!! It is such a good one though 🙂

I love peaceful sunrises and sunsets. We get some amazing sunsets in Florida…probably sunrises too but I don’t wake up that early ha! That home is gorgeous and mysterious. I love exploring estate sales from places like that to get a snapshot of the history of the house.
