when it snows in Texas

When it snows in Texas…people go crazy. And by snow, I mean a some snow flurries lol

It snowed last week which I wasn’t expecting at all. The weather was incredibly cold last week too. I looked up from working at the computer and saw a thick blanket of snow falling down. I, of course, took a hundred pictures of it because we never get even a hint of snow.

Ruger was a little confused by it. He saw snow two years ago and loved it, but has forgotten what it was since then lol

When it Snows in Texas....

The snow was falling so thick, I could barely see the cows in the pasture! It didn’t stick or last long, but it was so pretty coming down 🙂 I shared my favorite snow scene on instagram.

Bath Time for Ruger

Ruger loves bath time. Especially in the winter when he gets to have one inside 🙂

When it Snows in Texas....

I go through so many lemons each week! I use them for my morning metabolism boosting tea, drizzle them on veggies, and make this amazing bean dip which we are sharing Monday! It is so delicious!! Can’t wait for you to see on Monday.

friday favorites on chemistrycachetThis isn’t the best picture because it was so cloudy outside, but we have been loving the fact that it’s been so warm. 80 degrees! Snow one week, warm the next lol. I have been wearing this shirt on repeat because the Cowboys play on Sunday, and I am super excited/nervous/freaking out…I can’t wait!

P.S – If you love reading, we shared this winter’s book list on Tuesday! What are you currently reading right now? I plan on getting some more reading done this week.

And tomorrow, one of my best friends and I are going back to the Ashton Hotel for tea. It is her 30 birthday, so we are celebrating! Follow us on snapchat for more this weekend 🙂

I have to start getting better about using lemons more – we had some as the only thing “dressing” for our salad last night and it was delicious! Your dog is the so cute! Happy weekend girl! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston

Love your pooch. I live in Florida – I don’t really get snow but I can wake up freezing in the morning and turn on the heat and then be hot by afternoon and turn on the a/c. Winter is central Florida is weather in flux. Texas also seems to be a place of extremes.

Texas can be so extreme too! We had 25 degrees and snow, then it warmed up to 78 the next day. Can be hard to adjust to sometimes lol

Happy Friday (the 13th). What a “mood swing” your weather is having… Love your pictures of the snow falling – like a bit of powdered sugar on everything. And Ruger is a cutie, as always. I have a big stack of books to read – mainly cozy mysteries and woman/family relationship type stuff. I didn’t know that one of my fave mystery writers (Tess Gerritsen) is also a girl/romance writer. Enjoy your tea with your friend. I love teas… Have a good weekend!

I bet it was fun to see the snow since you don’t get it that often down in Texas. Ruger is adorable!!! Thank you for sharing your creation at the #HomeMattersParty last week. We hope you will link up with us again when the new party opens this Friday.
