I share fun healthy food choices on Instagram and Snapchat weekly. Readers are always wanting more fun ideas on meals especially easy, quick ones.
Today I wanted to share with you some ideas I have been loving lately.
The past few weeks, I have been on a waffle kick. These are just frozen organic gluten-free waffles in my local grocery store. I toast them up, then add a little almond butter with raw honey (all about raw honey here). Then, I top it with some fresh berries. So easy!
After giving this class on reading labels and healthy eating, many ladies have been asking me about healthy baking options for their kids. Preferably ones in a package.
These brownies aren’t gluten-free if you need that, but they are a great organic option. Minimal ingredients are in the mix, and great for kids! The package calls for butter, but I just substitute coconut oil instead for a dairy-free option.
This is the best natural food dye option! I buy them on amazon and it lasts forever! I use these dyes for icings, cakes, and cookies!

I shared this on Instagram earlier in the week. Y’all know I LOVE kombucha, but some of it is really not that great for you. A few brands I have tried have a large sugar content, so I typically stick with GTS brand. I recently tried this one from Target. It was really good, and it had a decent ingredients list with minimal sugar. It was also pretty cheap!
Readers have been asking for a chemistry post on Kombucha, so that will be coming up soon too 🙂
I am working on a new project involving flower petals and some cool chemistry tricks! I can’t wait to share next month!!

Happy Friday and weekend! Egads, August starts on Tuesday. Those waffles look so good – I love waffles, but they have to be hot and crispy. One of these days I’m going to try kombucha – what an odd name. And the brownie box picture makes me want some… good to know about a “healthy” box option. Enjoy your weekend!

I love them crispy too!! The best 🙂 Kombucha is such a great drink! Since you love tea, I think you would love kombucha too!! Have a great weekend!
