Happy Spring on Chemistry Cachet

Happy Friday! And more importantly, Happy Spring!

The weather has been warm all month, but this week we even had temperatures in the 90s :0 It is probably the earliest I have had to use my a/c, but I am soaking in all the sunshine and warm air.

My dad’s birthday was a few days back. I always like to make him something fun to celebrate. Last year I made this coffee infused coffee cake. This year I made some cookies full of pecans, white chocolate, and raisins. The were a huge hit! My mom kept asking for the recipe lol

Happy Spring

I also had to make another batch of these “Mound Bar” copycats this week. They are really such a delicious treat, and the fact that they are good for you is even better!

They are pretty awesome for dessert (and with popcorn too!!)

Happy Spring! Iced coffee on the porch swing

Warm weather means it’s iced coffee season again! My favorite place to be is on the porch swing sipping on some iced coffee (or Kombucha). I miss it all winter!

Beautiful tulips. Happy Spring!

You have probably seen all my spring flower inspiration on instagram and snap, but spring flowers make me so happy! The tulips looked so pretty for a few weeks, but they are starting to fade since it has been so warm. And the bluebonnets are popping up everywhere. You can see my backyard bluebonnets on instagram.

Spring Plant Shopping

My husband and I have some more backyard projects planned this spring to go with our pergola area. I can’t resist plant shopping every time I go to Lowe’s in the spring. So many beautiful blooms! I will be sharing all the planting details soon!

Coming up next week on Chemistry Cachet we have a bunch of spring cleaning inspiration!

Happy Friday! What are your plans for the weekend?

YAY for iced coffee. I’m not really a fan of warm coffee so I hate the cooler months! And there really is nothing better than pretty flowers for the spring, I need to go out and get some fresh ones! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

Happy (wet here) Friday! You are so thoughtful and creative with your baking for loved ones. How do you clean the metal straws? I don’t see the dishwasher getting the gunk out of such a narrow tube. Ah, spring cleaning to do – puppy and the mud, and I’ve more cards than a Hallmark store, to be sorted! That starts next week! Happy weekend!

It’s been wet here too! It poured this morning, but the sun is shining now! They come with a little wire brush so I hand wash them in hot water, then run the brush through them. It does pretty well. Have a wonderful weekend!
