Ah, sweet summertime is finally upon us!
June is one of my favorite months of the year because it still isn’t too hot, but summer is in full swing. It is the perfect time to make a fun and delicious healthy frozen summer treats to enjoy by the pool, in the backyard, or even inside watching a movie.
If you haven’t noticed by now, I am very nostalgic about summer. I guess it just brings me back to childhood when summer was the ultimate time for magical adventures and fun experiences. Like having a kool-aid stand for some spending money or even spending time at the county fair as a young adult. Summer is the season for memories in my opinion.
When I was growing up, heading to the snow cone stand, or grabbing one for the snow cone truck that came around the neighborhood was always a must. My mom also kept the refrigerator stocked with popsicles and ice pops. Coke floats were also a big one in the summer.
I still love this tradition as an adult.
You’ve seen all my summer treats lately on Instagram stories, so I wanted to share a list of my favorite frozen summer treats that are good for you too.
You won’t have to feel guilty about enjoying these healthy frozen summer treats!
P.S – Want an ultimate summer to-do list? This is a really fun old-fashioned one we enjoy every year. And head to my pinterest boards my pinterest boards for more healthy frozen summer treats!
Most of these of really easy and healthy!! A few are regular recipes that I like to substitute healthy ingredients to make. You can always change up regular dairy milk with almond milk or coconut milk. I also like to change regular yogurt to coconut yogurt.
Head over to this list of dairy-free substitutes if you need more ideas.
