Quick, Easy 10-30 Minute Home Workouts that ACTUALLY work! Affordable too! The best home workouts on chemistrycachet.com

I’m always sharing tidbits of my workouts on snapchat (username alexisroch) or Instagram. Quick & Easy home workouts that actually work are by far my favorite because you can do it every day without running out of time.

Before we talk about these workouts, I want to mention something I have to be super careful about is the impact on my joints since I have RA. Especially my elbows and knees. It is  bummer sometimes because I would love to do more high impact things. It’s not an option though, so all of these workouts are very gentle on your joints.

This is an extension from last year’s home workout post. Everything today is a 10- 30 minute workout too!

Many of these are free on youtube, a few are DVDs I bought from Amazon!

Since I will continue to update this post periodically with all the videos I am testing, be sure to save this to reference!

10 – 30 Minute Home Workouts that Actually Work!

10 Minute Pilates DVD

I have tested many 10 minute Pilates videos, and these are by far the best.  First, I must say using a band is a game changer for anyone workout because it really targets those deep muscles you don’t normally get to. Plus, you will always see quicker results.

Below are the videos I have tried, and they work the best!

10 Minute Tone & Tighten

Quick, Easy 10-30 Minute Home Workouts that ACTUALLY work! Affordable too!

10 Minute Slim & Sculpt

Although this looks like a similar DVD to the one above, it is a totally different type of movement. I love how different it is!

Quick, Easy 10-30 Minute Home Workouts that ACTUALLY work! Affordable too!

Total Body Pilates with Mini Ball

Quick, Easy 10-30 Minute Home Workouts that ACTUALLY work! Affordable too!

My favorite part about this DVD is the little mini ball it comes with. It really intensifies the workout, but you don’t even realize it. The ball mimics the type of things you do in a Pilates studio, which is amazing. This DVD has a 20 minute workout along with a 30 minute one.

The Firm Sculpt and Tone Pilates

I have literally had this DVD for 10 years. It was one of the first Pilates workouts I tried. It is about 30 minutes long, but I saw results from this after a few workouts. It works the entire body which I love!

Tracy Anderson’s 8 Minute Arms

I love all of her workouts because they are quick and easy. You usually don’t even need equipment which I love! I have been doing this arm workout for years, and I can do it pretty well even with rheumatoid arthritis in my elbows.

Tracy Anderson also has a line of workout DVDs that are really fast and effective.

10 Minute Fat Blasting Circuit

This is another one I have been doing for years. It is so fast and easy! I will put it on my phone and do it anytime I need a quick workout.

In addition to walking almost everyday, I try to incorporate strength training every couple of days at least. Keep this post to reference because I will continue to update with my favorite workout equipment, DVDs, and videos that I test out!

I am interested in Pilates – I hear it adds to your health, strength, etc. Haven’t done a video workout – watched them from the comfort of the sofa (lol). How are the resistance bands on your joints, Alexis? I have some difficulty with them on my wrists so I’m better off with free weights. I’m most comfortable with med-heavy weight training but I need more cross training.

Pilates has truly changed my life. My health and RA are much better overall. My hardest joints to deal with are my elbows, so I can’t lift weights anymore 🙁 Band work has been a great way for my to strengthen my arms since I can’t do much else. I like using the Pilates videos for the band work since it is pretty gentle on my fingers, wrists, and elbows. The other good thing about Pilates bands is they have a lot of give to them, so they aren’t very tough to pull. Some bands are way to strong, so I stick with these 🙂

Thanks so much for sharing. I can’t really do much that’s high impact either – I have bad knees and scoliosis, so you know. hah

It is definitely hard to workout when you have physical limitations! That is what I love so much about Pilates, so easy on the joints 🙂

I love working out at home now that I don’t live next to a gym! We live out in the country, so that was something to get used to when we bought this house. Now, I really like it though 🙂
