Catch up on this project from week one. Week 2 photos can be found here!

January 14: I love having a bike in my office. It is so nice to take a break from work and get some cardio in! This day was on of those days I needed it.

January 14

January 15: Saw this coffee at the store and had to get it. Tried it out in my french press and it was interesting! We spent most of the day at the VA, so I needed fuel!

January 15

January 16: It was a super chilly day so we had a fire going and made lots of tea, like this energy boosting green tea. We watched many movies too!January 16

January 17: Cooking supper. Chicken, black bean, and sweet potato chili (recipe soon!)January 17

January 18: Hubby was actually off for MLK Day, so we had breakfast together and I helped him study for his next law enforcement exam. Yes, he is eating syrup. He can’t eat pancakes due to his health stuff, but he loves syrup lol.

January 18

January 19: He loves looking out the window!

January 19

January 20: Working on a new project for the blog…he always has to be right up in everything I am doing lol! See more on instagram 🙂

January 20

I have a gym in my office that I need to take advantage of more often! I can’t believe the syrup thing, it makes me a bit sad that he can’t enjoy foods with syrup but at least he can have the syrup by itself!

I know, I feel so bad he misses out on his most favorite things ever, but at least he can still taste syrup! Which he loves!

Great pics, Alexis. Love Ruger… wonder what’s he thinking in those pics… Can’t wait for you to share the chili recipe. Can it be cooked in the slow cooker? Always looking for a variation on chili. The recumbent bike would be neat – at least I won’t fall off… but I wonder if try to read and bike, would I get motion sickness? That happened while on a treadmill and watching TV! 🙂

I always wonder what he is thinking too! He is always so deep in thought! Yes, you can definitely make this in the slow cooker! I always get motion sick on a treadmill, but so far the bike has been good for me. I sometimes read on it, and so far so good! It seems to be more stable and has less movement!

Yeah, I am definitely not a syrup fan at all! Poor guy, he loves waffles, it is his favorite breakfast. He can’t eat them out since they have dairy in them and he will get so sick, so he likes to pretend lol
