You are going to enjoy this big list of non-toxic household products that work so good!

Last year, I had a reader survey, and I got an overwhelming amount of requests for more product testing and reviews.

Since last year, I have been trying all different brands and types of household products readers have asked about or I see online.

It has been so much fun, and I have a list of many different ones you can use.

The best part is these all smell so nice, and they are the perfect addition to your summer cleaning routine.

Big List of Non-Toxic Household Products That Work SO GOOD!

Don’t forget to follow us on instagram for more fun stories and videos like this. Because I test out so many products and research how they work, many items never make it to the blog. I will discuss things on Instagram stories or do a reel 🙂

Here are some of my favorite non-toxic cleaning products I have been using!

Grab Green Tangerine Pot Cleaner

I have loved all the Grab Green Products, and these cookware and bakeware cleaning pods are so cool. You put them in a dirty pot or pan with some water, let it sit, then scrub it gently. It removes all types of debris that are stuck on. These smell so wonderful, my entire cabinet smells like tangerine.

Grab Green Garbage Disposal Pods

I did an IG reel on these!. These pods smell HEAVENLY. I gave my mom a package as a gift, and she loves it too. It also works so good for cleaning your disposal and eliminating odors. The key ingredients are simple with

Grab Green Gardenia Laundry Pods

I have been using these wonderful detergent pods for our sheet and towels. Amelia laid down in bed after I washed her sheets with these the first time, and she said “WOW mommy these smell like flowers” lol

She was impressed, and I am too. Plus, it is non-toxic simple ingredients.

Grow Fragrance Wildflower Rain Spray

Grow Fragrance is awesome. Their fabric and air sprays have such a great scent. I have been loving the wildflower rain spray. I spray my throw pillows and couch with this, it has the best smell. It is very subtle and not overpowering, but it lingers for a long time. Anyone who comes to my house and sits on the couch can smell it. They always ask me what that wonderful smell is! I love this brand, everything is non-toxic and plant based. They have a new summer collection out too which I just purchased some candles (more below)

Grow Fragrance Coastal Tide Candle

I love how their candles come in two parts. Once you purchase the vessel, you can just buy refills for the inside. Non-toxic candles are more mild than chemical fragrance, but I really love how these smell. They smell good even when they aren’t lit. This coastal tide scent smells just like summer, and it really brings back memories for me. I have been using this one when I take a bath!

Dirty Labs Bio Enzyme Dishwasher Detergent

This is yuzu, geranium, and lemon balm scented. This detergent works so well, and it also smells wonderful! It cleans dishes, leaves zero residue, and also helps with dishwasher orders. By the way, I am also trying out their laundry detergent. I will report back on that soon too 🙂

Modern Alchemy Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide

This brand is so neat (get 10% off with code chemistrycachet). While it doesn’t have a scent, this is excellent quality food grade peroxide. It is hard to find food grade, this one is 17.5%, so you dilute it for use. This makes the bottle last forever as well! Perfect for using all year to clean. Food grade peroxide is what you want to use for things like disinfecting cutting boards, toothbrushes, toys, refrigerators, and anything like this. To dilute, mix up 1 tbsp of this peroxide to 5 tbsp of water. This can be used as a spray or soaking toothbrushes.

All households should have good quality food grade hydrogen peroxide for disinfecting and cleaning! It is hard to find it now, so I highly recommend Modern Alchemy brand.

My home smells so fantastic right now with all of these items I have been using! They are perfect for the upcoming summer months.

So, I can’t use regular peroxide from dollar store to disinfect toothbrushes? 5% I’m sorry you probably get this question a lot, I guess I missed why.

When it comes to disinfecting food surfaces or anything going in your mouth, you technically want to use a food grade peroxide which won’t contain the extra stabilizers that come in the basic peroxide disinfectant in your first aide section. Here is a blog post on more details regarding hydrogen peroxide. I love buying this food grade peroxide mentioned in this post because it is 30% and can be diluted for different things plus it is food grade so can be used for any food surface as well.

Ok I just want to understand. So it becomes 17.5% after diluting? You stated that you like this one because it’s 17.5% and it’s difficult to find. Above you state this one is 30%. I’m just wanting to be certain what I need to look for. Thanks so much Alexis I follow all of your posts and trust your analysis. I don’t know how you do it with two little ones. Thanks for your hard work.

This peroxide is 17.5%. To dilute it for cleaning use, mix 5tbsp of water with 1 tbsp of peroxide. Thanks! Hope this helps 🙂
