Today we are talking about how to make grain free rice in just one minute! Plus, the health benefits of using Cauliflower.

Rice is so versatile, and I love how you can add it into any type of recipe. Mexican food, Chinese, American, or even just on it’s own!

I love replacing foods we eat every day with healthier options, so I make this rice all the time. Plus, it is really affordable and you can freeze it too. This goes with some of my proven health tips I talked about previously. We always cut out as many processed foods, and eat more vegetables when we can 🙂

I use this one minute, one ingredient grain free rice almost every week for dishes!

How to Make Grain Free Rice

1 Minute, 1 Ingredient Grain Free Rice

  • 1 head of cauliflower, washed & cut up into smaller pieces

Directions:

In a food processor (or really good blender), place cut up pieces of cauliflower and blend until rice like texture. That’s it! There is absolutely no prep work involved. It is not necessary to stem the cauliflower beforehand, it produces it’s own juices when blended.

Speaking of food processors, the one you see in the pictures was my mom’s in the 70s…still works like a charm, plus it’s vintage 🙂

I have a fun recipe using this cauliflower that I will share with you soon. Give this a try for your next rice dish. It doesn’t even need to be cooked, just heated a little bit if you want it warm!

I’ve heard people doing this, but I didn’t believe it until it came from a trusted blogger. I’d be loading that sucker up with butter, though, because I love rice and butter…

It is amazing how well it works! I love heating it up with some coconut oil in a pan for friend rice! So good! I will share that recipe soon, it is one of my favorites 🙂
