These quick holiday cleaning hacks are so handy, you can do them now!

This is great for Thanksgiving which is just a few days away, or for the upcoming Christmas season.

It seems like the holiday season is so busy, it can be difficult to fit in time to get things done especially cleaning.

With these tips, you can get your home looking nice and smelling good for guests.

Quick Holiday Cleaning Hacks You Can Do Now!

🎄👉 Find all the items from this post in our Amazon List For Holiday Cleaning Must Haves.

Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram for fun videos and tips.

Tip 1: Make a Christmas Cleaning Spray

All you need for this DIY all-purpose spray is a few basic ingredients and you can clean your entire house. Counters in the kitchen, bathroom surfaces, baseboards and tables can all be cleaned with this easy spray. You can add in your favorite Christmas scented essential oil or Thanksgiving oil like a pumpkin spice. You can find the recipe in our blog post here which also goes into detail on why we use each ingredient.

Tip #2: Use a Damp Microfiber Cloth To Dust The House

Damp microfiber is one of my secrets to dusting everything quick. Using it damp allows to pick up just about any type of dust particle on all surfaces. I will dampen a microfiber, then go dust all the common surfaces in my house. It takes just a few minutes and works great! You can even use this for your blinds. Check out our recent IG uses this tip.

Tip # 3: Wash Tablecloths and Use This Easy Fabric Softener

I love Tru Earth Laundry Strips because they are so quick and easy to use! And I found it is very effective for table clothes. Mine are stored in the linen closet all year, so they have wrinkles in them and don’t look as nice. I wash them on a gentle cold cycle with Tru Earth strips and a fabric softener strip to make the table clothes look nice and have less wrinkles.

Tip #4: Freshen Carpets With A DIY Recipe

If you want to freshen your carpets, make this homemade recipe to sprinkle around the house. It helps with odors and will make your house smell great. Since this is the holiday season, you can change up the tea bags in this recipe to be something more festive like peppermint, orange or lemon. The original recipe calls for lavender tea which is still a good choice!

Tip #5: Get Your Fabric Chairs and Couches Clean With This Super Handy Tool

The last tip today is using this incredibly handy quick upholstery cleaner to clean all our fabrics including chairs and couches! I bought this last year right before Thanksgiving because I had just had a baby and needed to get all my chairs in the dining room clean before Thanksgiving. I was actually surprised how well this worked! I use it all the time now and highly recommend this for an easy, quick cleaning hack. It is on a big sale right now and worth the investment.

I hope these fun and quick holiday cleaning hacks will help you get your home clean and ready for the holiday season!
