2 Minute Cayenne Lime Popcorn

Ingredients
1/4
cup
popcorn kernels
2
tsp
pink salt (or regular)
2
tsp
coconut oil
1
tsp
cayenne pepper
1
tsp
lime seasoning
1
tsp
lemon zest
1/2
lemon
squeezed
Instructions
First, add popcorn kernels to a bowl.
Coat with the coconut oil.
Add in the salt, cayenne, and lime seasoning. Stir until all kernels are coated.
Spoon into a paper lunch sack. Leave excess oil in the bowl.
Fold over paper sack at least two times (see picture below).
Lay on the side in the microwave. Shake a little to make sure kernels are spread out.
Microwave around 2 minutes or until popping stops!
Be careful, it will be HOT! Allow to rest for a minute or so in the microwave.
Add to a bowl. Before serving, top with the lime juice and stir. Then add in the lime zest on top with some additional salt!
Recipe Notes
It is normal for some kernels to remain unpopped. You don’t want them all to pop or it may burn 🙂
