Easy Baked Chocolate Donut Recipe (Totally Allergy-Free!)
Servings
6donuts
Servings
6donuts
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a donut pan, set aside.
  2. Create your flax eggs. See notes below for details on that! Let this sit for about 10 minutes before adding to the recipe.
  3. Add in all the dry ingredients and mix until combined. Also see notes below for using dutched cocoa!
  4. Add in the wet ingredients, including the flax egg. Mix until just combined.
  5. Last, stir in the chocolate chips, but save a few to put on the top.
  6. Top all the donuts with a few chocolate chips. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until donuts are firm.
  7. All to cool in the pan for a few minutes.
  8. This STEP IS IMPORTANT. Coconut flour is crumbly, so they can fall apart. Using a wire wrack, place on top of the donut pan, then flip over. Give it a little shake and the donuts should all be upside down on the rack.
  9. Cool completely before serving.
Recipe Notes

Find out why I use dutched cocoa in this post. Make sure to read this post for details on using flax eggs! Homemade vanilla extract works great for this, here is a good tutorial to have on hand.
