Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9×9 baking pan and set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, nutmeg and salt until combined. Add in the sugar (make sure to set aside about 1 tbsp of this).
Now add in the coconut oil and almond milk. The flour mixture may seem a little soupy at first, but keep mixing. It will eventually get thick like a biscuit batter.
In the 9×9 pan, spread the berries evenly. Sprinkle the 1 tbsp of coconut sugar you set aside. If your berries aren’t very sweet, feel free to sprinkle a little more sugar.
Add the cobbler flour topping on the berries, and spread evenly. I like to make sure some berries show through still (see picture below). You can also sprinkle a little more sugar on top.
Bake about 25-30 minutes, until cobbler is cooked through.
