I have had such great feedback on this type of series, we are doing another installment today. I am not expanding it to more than just skincare products though!
Today, we are sharing a review of health and beauty products I’ve completely finished.
Review of Health & Beauty Products I’ve Completely Finished
Why is this helpful?
There is nothing sponsored in this post, so you are getting my complete honest review of products after I have used the entire bottle or product. Many of these popular items you see online all the time with people raving about them, but it is hard to know if the reviews are real. Or it is hard to know how much of the product was actually used.
I purchased all of these items myself and used them until the entire container was finished. This allows me to see the full benefit, and make a good determination if I would repurchase it or not!
Many readers requested I continue this series, but also bring in other products like supplements or anything health related I use!

Be sure to catch up on the previous posts in this series since we have done them awhile now.
Products I Have Completely Finished + Review
Here is the most recent review of health & beauty products I’ve finished! It takes many months to go through products because I don’t use too many things at once especially for skincare. I rotate skincare products using 4-5 at a time. Anyways, it can take several months to finish a bottle up.
When I share a review about a skincare product on my blog, I usually test it for at least a month or two, but sometimes I use something for a year before sharing it! This is how long I take to research things.
Dental Probiotic
I mentioned I will be adding in health products to this series now! First up is this dental probiotic (use code CHEMISTRY for a discount) I have used. I have completely finished this bottle and using another right now. This is such a cool, unique dental product. I love it! I will continue to use it because it has really helped several things for me. I started using this in pregnancy to help with sensitive teeth and bleeding gums. It cleared those issues up within a few weeks. Long-term, it has helped with tarter build up and more! You can check out this instagram highlight video I did on this product back in November by the way.
Renew Me Anti-Wrinkle Serum
First, this bottle (use code alexisroch for 25% off!) lasted me over two months of constant use! I am currently on my third bottle of it, and it is by far one of my favorite products. I saw results after using it just a few weeks, but using it since August or so and my skin is in great shape. You can read how it works in this blog post. It was also a reader favorite from last year 🙂
La Roche Posay Face Cream
This is one of my favorite brands for eczema prone skin, but I wasn’t that crazy about this particular product. I used the entire bottle to see how it went, but it was a bit too greasy for my face. I love all of their products, but I won’t purchase this one again.
Zo Exfoliating Facial Cleanser
This brand is something you see at a doctors office or skincare treatment office. I get asked about ZO often! I have tried three or four of their products…they are okay, but in my opinion not worth the money at all. This facial cleanser is okay, but I wouldn’t buy it again. It wasn’t anything special!
Brighten Me Dark Circle Cream
This is the product I have used since last year. I just finished up another tube of it. I believe this is the third one I have used (use code alexisroch for 25% off!. Each container will last me around 2 months as well!
Lumineux Whitening Strips
I started using these several years ago! Most whitening strips mess up my teeth, so I haven’t tried any since I was in highschool. I heard so many good things about these, so I bought them. They are really good! Very gentle on the gums too. It is non-toxic with natural ingredients too.
Lumineux Toothpaste
The toothpaste for this brand is also good! It is a whitening toothpaste, non-toxic, and enhances the whitening strips. I have had good success using this over the years!
Vitamin C Serum
I love trying new vitamin C serums. This one seemed to work pretty well, my skin was very bright after using the entire bottle in my skincare regimen. The consistency was very watery and thin, so I wasn’t a huge fan of that. I prefer a vitamin c serum with a thicker or matte texture like the FRÉ vitamin C I am using now.
L’oreal Eye Defense Cream
Last year, I had several readers request I try this eye cream. It was pretty good and moisturized my eye area well. It didn’t seem to help with my dark circles at all though! lol In fact, when I finished this jar up, I switched back to my favorite dark circle under eye cream because I noticed my dark circles were more prominent again. If you are looking for something simple and moisturizing at the store, this isn’t a bad option.
Clinique Eye Cream
I finished this one up last year and forgot to include it in my last skincare empties post! This is throw back product for me, I used it in high school too! I love the texture of this one. It doesn’t seem to help much with dark circles, but it is very hydrating and soft. I wouldn’t mind buying this again for something to keep on hand.
JSHealth Marine Collagen
I shared this JShealth brand back in the fall when I started using their protein powder. I just finished up this jar of marine collagen (discount code ART15)! I am trying more of their products, but I started with this one since I am breastfeeding still. I loved it! It didn’t have a bad odor like many marine collagens do. It also made my hair and nails grow super fast. My skin seemed more hydrated too. I would definitely recommend this if you like marine collagen. My discount code still works too, ART15

I would love for you to review more supplements! VItamin C and fish oil are some I am looking in to. Can you share more of this in your next post like this?
Alexis says
Hi! Yes I am actually working on some blog posts for this month on supplements I have been using! I will have them ready soon, and will also include them in my next review post like this as well.

I really like these posts too. There are several products I have wanted to try like that lumineaux brand. Do you have a fish oil blog post? My dr recommended I start using one, but there are so many brands I wasnt sure what would be better.

That’s great! I have actually been testing a fish oil supplement which I will have a blog post about later this month 🙂 Keep an eye out!
