fluffy lemon tea in a jarHere is a simple recipe for fluffy lemon tea.

I usually drink water throughout the day with a squeeze of lemon, but I get bored with that! This is such an easy, refreshing drink to whip up anytime of day. So, why is it called fluffy? Well, it’s just that…fluffy! When you blend tea with ice, it forms this billowy type texture, similar to a snow cone!

One of my main health tips last week (you can read that post here) was green tea. You can definitely use green tea for this recipe, or your favorite. I have done this with black tea and it was just as good 🙂

Simple Fluffy Lemon Tea

  •  8 oz of water, boiling
  •  2 tea bags of choice ( I use green tea, but use your favorite one that goes with lemon!)
  •  1 lemon
  • 1- 2 packets of sweetener (I use truvia)
  •  1-2 cups of ice
  1. Steep tea bags in water for 3-4 minutes. Let it cool just a few minutes, then add it to a blender.
  2. Add sweetener, squeeze at least half of the lemon (use more if you love lemon or if your lemon isn’t very juicy), and ice.
  3. Blend until desired texture!

Simple, fluffly lemon tea. Light, refreshing, and healthy. So easy too! chemistrycachet.comSo simple, but it is really refreshing and a great substitute for just plain water! I love adding lemon to everything, so I usually add the entire lemon for this recipe…but that is a little strong, so you can certainly use less 🙂

What is your favorite type of tea? Have a wonderful week!

This looks so fun to drink! I haven’t asked but do you prefer a certain brand of tea?

I love Tazo, Bigelow, and Republic of Tea most…but I also get celestial and any other type that looks fun! But those three are the brands I always keep on hand 🙂

Happy Monday Alexis. A fluffy drink, made from tea – wow! Wonder how this would do with black tea. Or the green tea with roasted rice. But the important question is where is my blender? Can I use an immersion blender?

Hope you had a fab weekend. LOVE the IG pic of you, your mom, and Ruger. Beautiful ladies and a handsome dog. Have a great day!

Hi Laurie! It should definitely do it with black tea! I have a chocolate hazelnut black tea that I turn into fluffy tea, and it is really delicious! I bet an immersion blender who do the trick as long as it crushes up your ice good 🙂 That is a great idea! Thank you! We got to see “grandma” yesterday and Ruger had so much fun! Have a wonderful day!

You know I love tea! What a change from my usual hot tea or cold when I’m not too lazy to make it. I am so going to try this. Who would of thought tea could be fluffy! I have TAZO Passionfruit tea I bet it would be so good fluffy. Thanks Alexis for such a unique way to spice tea drinking up.

It is so neat how fluffy tea turns! I am not sure if a stick blender would work, but if it crushes up ice, I bet it would! I don’t have a stick blender ( I definitely need to get one), but let me know if you give it a try 🙂
