Today I’m sharing my simple teeth cleaning regimen for the healthiest teeth. This regimen will also keep your teeth white!

One of the questions I get the most from family and friends is how I keep my teeth so white and healthy?

To be honest, I’m thankful for good genetics when it comes to teeth. My dad has strong healthy teeth. His father always had really healthy teeth “made of iron”’everyone said.

As I’ve gotten older and after having a baby, I’ve noticed my teeth need a little more TLC though. I’ve never had a cavity, and I’d like to keep it that way!

These are such simple tips to keep your teeth clean and healthy!

Simple Teeth Cleaning Regimen For The Healthiest Teeth

Use a good toothbrush

I have been using this toothbrush, and I love it! I wanted to find a good toothbrush that didn’t cost hundreds of dollars. Can you believe there are toothbrushes that cost that much??

Anyways, after doing some research and talking with my dentist, I chose this one. It has multiple settings to clean, whiten, or a gentle setting for sensitive teeth. My teeth are so much cleaner when I use this!

I also have very close teeth, so it can be hard to get into those areas. This toothbrush does a great job of that. It’s affordable too! Another reason I wanted to try it out.

The way this toothbrush works is quick circular movements which helps with surface stains, plaque, germs, and polishing. After one use, my teeth were already cleaner. After two weeks, you will notice whiter teeth too. By the way, this isn’t sponsored, I just love this toothbrush 🙂

It also has a rechargeable battery, so you don’t have to worry about running out of batteries!

Always floss

One of the reasons my teeth stay so clean, is I’m a flosser. I always have been too. My dentist said flossing everyday is the most important thing for preventing gingivitis.

It’s so simple to floss each night after brushing. I use these, and it makes it much easier. My teeth are very close together, so I have trouble getting regular size floss in between them.

Flossing is the only way to get in between teeth!

If you want to invest in a tool, this water flosser is a great product. The dentist told my husband this would be the best way to restore his gum health. They actually do a procedure like this in the dental office, but you can use this at home. It is easy to use and will keep away gingivitis.  It is a little pricey, but worth the investment for healthy gums. One of my family members has been using this for a few years, and the dentist was shocked at how healthy his gums were compared to the last few visits!

Use a good mouthwash

Mouthwash has so many benefits. The most important one is killing germs and bad breath. I have trouble using alcohol based mouth washes because it burns so much.

I have been on the lookout for a new mouthwash that is more natural, but gets the job done. I have been using this activated charcoal mouthwash, and I love it!

When you first pour the mouthwash, it might be a little intimidating because it’s black! Since it’s made from activated charcoal, it is black in color, but don’t worry, it doesn’t stain your teeth. In fact, it does the opposite! It cleans your teeth really well.  Activated charcoal has become very popular in oral care because it has so many benefits. From cleaning to absorbing odor, it is a great natural option for your mouth.

It also contains tea tree oil which kills bad breath and coconut oil which moisturizes your mouth. Coconut oil also pulls plaque away from teeth. If you have tried oiling pulling, but don’t like the texture, then this mouthwash is a better choice for you. It doesn’t have any texture, but a great mint taste! I highly recommend trying it out.

Whiten teeth naturally

If you want to do anything extra for your teeth, you can try out some of these natural whitening tips!

We shared this post last year, and everyone enjoyed it. I had readers write me and tell me all the ones they enjoyed! It’s a great post to keep on hand 🙂

And if you want something really fun to do with your toothpaste, don’t forget to read this post on Cleaning your HOUSE with toothpaste 🙂

I hope you enjoy this simple teeth cleaning regimen for the healthiest teeth. If you use any of these products, please tag #chemistrycachet on Instagram!!

IMPORTANT!! Please ALWAYS consult your dentist on any new items for oral care. Everyone is different, so your dentist can help you make the best decision for your teeth 🙂 My dentist has approved this simple teeth cleaning regimen for me!

Thanks for this important post on teeth cleaning. My new dentist says to floss more, but as lame as it sounds, I can’t get my fingers in my mouth past my eye teeth! So, your DenTek tools may be a big help. I’ve been debating about manual vs power toothbrush – I have to have be gentle as my gums are receding/wearing down. You’ve given me options to consider how to take care of my teeth – thanks Alexis!

I have trouble flossing too! These little flossers have been awesome for that! I love how small this toothbrush is, so it really gets in between teeth!

Anything with coconut oil can help with dry mouth! The mouthwash I mention in this post has that ingredient. You can also try oil pulling with coconut oil. I would definitely check with your dentist too to see if they have any suggestions. You can buy biotin that the store in the supplement section too. It’s very affordable
