Here is the latest edition of skincare products tested by a chemist part 4 (skincare empties).

As a chemist specializing in skincare, I’ve been testing skincare products since 2020. I select items based on a combination of ingredient research or their online popularity, using each bottle completely to give you my full, honest review.

I even incorporate reader requests, purchasing and thoroughly testing products you ask about!

Skincare Products Tested By A Chemist Part 4 (Skincare Empties)

You will usually see repeat empties on these posts because I like to share ALL of my empty skincare products including the ones I have used for years. P.S – see my handsome little helper in the picture above? He likes to help and watch 🙂 My other little helper was at school.

FRE Moisturize Me

I will start with all the FRE products on this list because they are buy far the most popular products with our readers. Each product is clean, effective, and science-based, so readers always feel good about using them plus they see results too. First up is the moisturize me (always use discount code alexisroch at checkout, currently 40% off!). This is a favorite for me personally during the winter months, The texture is thicker, so it is great for dry skin. I have probably used 5 -6 of these jars now.

C Me Vitamin C Serum

Anyone who has used the VC-IP vitamin C serum (discount code alexisroch) is blown away by this. I first chose it because it uses VC-IP instead of ascorbic acid which give you much better results. It is also a velvet texture making your skin look blurred (like a pore primer). This is a product I use year round and highly recommend to everyone. For those who love the science background, be sure to catch up on why you should switch to VC-IP vitamin C serum.

Revive Me Firming Serum

Another year round product and a favorite among anyone in the skincare world is the Revive Me firming serum (discount code alexisroch at checkout). This combines hyaluronic acid and niacinamide for hydrated and firm skin. I have used it since 2019!

Cleanse Me Face Wash

My favorite face wash (code alexisroch) uses Ylang Ylang flower oil to gently and effective clean skin and makeup. I love the soft foaming texture it has too! I use it year round. This product is always on my skincare empties list.

MAELOVE Peptide Serum

I chose this product because it combines several of my favorite ingredients (hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and Matryixl 3000). While the texture is a little watery, it did leave my skin looking firmer after a few weeks. My skin was also VERY soft after using this each morning. I would definitely repurchase this for the summer months.

BLOOM colostrum and collagen peptides

This was a reader request. I was searching for a powdered colostrum to test out, and this one was asked from readers many times. I used TWO full jars before reporting back to you. I didn’t see any results with this. No nail or hair growth, and my skin didn’t look more hydrated like it does with other types of collagen. I won’t repurchase it.

Cosmette Moisturizer

This smelled like mushrooms, but it had a nice texture. My skin felt very soft using this! It isn’t as deeply hydrating as other face creams, but I did love how soft my skin was using it. I don’t know if I would repurchase it, but I have used several of their products before and they are very gentle/basic.

ULTA Beauty Gold Eye Gels

I was at ULTA and decided to give these a try. I definitely won’t buy them again, they didn’t do anything for my under eye area! Some of the ULTA brand products are good, but this one didn’t do it for me.

Nurture By Nature Face Scrub

My SIL got me this wonderful gift set for Christmas.  I used the bath salts, the scrub, and the soap in it so far. I loved it! It was very hydrating and smelled wonderful too. The bath salts were really nice. Everything was so nice in this set! It would make a wonderful gift idea for someone.

L’OREAL Collagen Face Cream

This is the BEST drug store face cream you can use. My mom and I have used it for over 10 years, and it is the best. I always keep it on hand! I recommend getting it on Amazon because it is much cheaper than the store!

Superteeth Dental Probiotic

I love this dental probiotic! use this each month. It has helped a lot with my tooth sensitivity. I started using this dental probiotic (use code CHEMISTRY for a discount) in pregnancy to help with sensitive teeth and bleeding gums. It cleared those issues up within a few weeks. Long-term, it has helped with tarter build up and more! You can check out this instagram highlight video I did last year.

Tucketts Foot Moisturizer

I bought the set for this that also had the scrub. It was okay, but I thought it was a little thin in texture for a foot cream. I don’t think I would repurchase it again! I do love Tuckett grip socks for Pilates though 🙂

Biodance Collagen Masks

These are AWESOME! Highly recommend them. The price is affordable and it hydrates your face deeply overnight. Or you can use them for about 3-4 hours during the day for deep hydration. I have shared these on IG before, but I have probably used about 3-4 boxes now.  They are so easy to use!

I hope you enjoyed this latest edition of our skincare empties post!
