Sunny April Days

We had some rain earlier in the week, but otherwise beautiful weather. I just love sunny April days in Texas before the heat sets in!

Every afternoon, I try to take a break and sit outside on the porch swing. I said this on Instagram last week, but it is truly my favorite place to be 🙂

Raw honey vs regular honey

Favorite Posts this Week

On Monday, I shared this post on my case study with raw honey vs regular organic honey. Many readers have asked me about this, especially when making this collagen concoction. If you have wondered too, this is a great post for you!

For Easter, I made my Grammy’s favorite cake from when she was a little girl. This old-fashioned date pecan cake! She said it tasted just like her mother’s did 🙂

April Wildflowers in Texas

I stayed over at my parents house Monday night, just for fun. They have pastures and fields full of wildflowers now! I love these Indian Blankets!

Sunny April Days in Texas.

This is one of my favorite views from our backyard. Especially this time of year when everything is so green!

Sunny April Days green tea scrub

I made another batch of my green tea scrub infused with rose this week. This is pretty much all I use for body and face scrub now. My friends really love it too, so I end up making batches of it at least once a month 🙂 It is great for spring too!

This weekend we have some projects to finish up around the house (join me on snapchat for more UN: alexisroch)

What are your plants this weekend?

Sounds like you had such a lovely weekend. Aw, that’s awesome your grandma loved the cake you made and gave you high compliments on it!

I WISH I had a porch swing, but I have a very small porch. haha I do like sitting on it and just reading though. My dog likes to relax outside if it’s not too hot.

I really appreciated your post on the honey. I’m in need of purchasing some more and hope to find some at the Farmer’s Market. The greenery this time of year is absolutely beatuiful and I’m glad you are having good weather.

Is it bad I totally want a Moscow Mule now?! Ha! And I still need to make that scrub, my Himalayan salt one is almost gone so that’s next on my list! Happy Friday! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes

Happy Friday! It’s been a busy, crazy time-challenging week! I love the picture of the Indian Blankets (although, at first I was looking for a real blanket, not the flowers, LOL). I have not slept over at my parents’ place in YEARS… I wonder how that would be these days… something to ponder. Busy weekend… Have a great weekend!

I used to never sleep at my parents, but as I get older, I really enjoy it more and more. My mom and I love having sleepovers, watching movies and eating popcorn all night lol Have a wonderful weekend!

I just your green tea body scrub last night to exfoliate. I only do it about once a week but my skin feels silky smooth afterwards and I feel like the grain of the sugar really deep cleans your skin more so than any soap can.
