Super Fun Facts About Coffee from A to Z on chemistrycachet.com "Chemist solutions for healthy living, easy baking, pretty flowers, & endless coffee"

The smell of coffee brewing and that first sip in the morning are heavenly. Before I was a coffee drinker, I never understood the hype. Then in the middle of my chemistry degree, I woke up one morning needing it. Even though I never really had it before, I just knew I needed it! Now, it is something I look forward to every single morning!

Coffee is amazing…not just in taste, not just for your sanity, but also due to it’s chemical intricacy.

Coffee beans are truly one of the most fascinating chemicals on earth, that gets even more interesting when it is ground and brewed.

The possibilities are endless, and there are so many super fun facts about coffee from different brewing methods like cold brew or french press, to numerous health benefits. It is even a great topical product, like with this chocolate coffee sugar scrub.

As a chemist, I fully endorse the health aspect of coffee. I have a full post on that soon, but just to give you an idea, coffee is more than just caffeine. It has vitamins, like B2 and B5. It even has minerals like manganese, magnesium, and potassium! All of that in one cup too 🙂

Let’s dive into some more fun facts about coffee from A to Z with this fun infographic.

Wow… I didn’t know about all the types of coffee beans and processing! Very informative – even though I don’t drink coffee. “Maybe” one day I’ll wake up and crave a cup, just like you, and bam! I’ll be hooked on your “liquid sanity”. 🙂 I have a friend who used to work with Sara Lee coffee and give us bags and bags of processed coffee beans; then he went to Ghirardelli Chocolate and gave us pounds of chocolate… he’s now retired and living in another state… sign… Have a wonderful day, and holiday weekend… xo
