You will enjoy these super helpful kitchen tools for fruit and veggie lovers!

My husband thinks this is so weird of me, since he is a huge meat guy, but I could totally live off of fruits and vegetables. I eat almost a completely plant based diet, and I am okay with that!

Summer is the perfect time of year to experiment with dozens of fruits and vegetables in the kitchen, and these are the perfect helpful kitchen tools for fruit and veggie lovers!

11 Super Helpful Kitchen Tools For Fruit & Veggie Lovers

1 Super Helpful Kitchen Tools For Fruit & Veggie Lovers on chemistry cachet

The key to living a healthy lifestyle is to keep your diet interesting. Since I eat an 80% or more plant based diet, I like to have a huge variety of all types of fruits and vegetables for meals. I also love combining unique flavors together to give everything an entire new spin. I am always sharing crazy smoothie ideas on instagram and I always get comments like, “I would have never put those together!”

I also share fun tips like this on instagram, especially my daily energizing afternoon tea.

I have some nifty kitchen items that make baking and cooking easier, but there are also a ton of helpful kitchen tools for fruit and vegetable lovers that can also make eating healthy much easier!

Some of these I have and love, and some of these were recommended by friends, so I have them on my list of must haves too!

1. Herb Scissors

Helpful kitchen tools for fruit & veggie lovers that make life easier! on chemistrycachet.com

I think this tool is a GENIUS idea! Herbs are perfect for adding to baked vegetables, meats, or even drinks, but cutting them is the worst! If you use fresh herbs all the time, this is a must have for sure!

2. Jalapeño Corer

Helpful kitchen tools for fruit & veggie lovers that make life easier! on chemistrycachet.com

Anything I can use to make cutting and coring jalapenos easier, I will. I found out the hard way, but I am severely allergic to peppers topically. I have to use gloves when I cut them, but being able to just core them is a great idea! Especially for stuffed peppers or roasting them!

3. Bell Pepper Corer

Or for bell peppers, this one is another great tool!

4. Pineapple Corer

I saw this one on a cooking show last week, and it actually looked pretty simple! I am old school about cutting my pineapple and can do it in under a minute, but I know after my researched pineapple benefits post, many readers mentioned they just hated cutting it…this looks like the perfect solution!

5. Corn Stripper

Helpful kitchen tools for fruit & veggie lovers that make life easier! on chemistrycachet.com

If you love making fresh corn, this looks like the perfect tool!

6. Peach Wedger & Pitter

This looks like an amazing idea! We eat a TON of peaches in the summer. My husband could eat pounds of them, but I also love to cook with them. Cutting them off the pit can get tricky, so this looks like the perfect solution!

7.Garlic Press

These are the best tools if you use garlic! I hate cutting up garlic because it is so sticky and messy. I either grate it or press it. These make it so fast to add fresh garlic to anything!

8. Kale Stripper

Helpful kitchen tools for fruit & veggie lovers that make life easier! on chemistrycachet.com

Yes!! This tool is amazing. If you eat kale often, which I do, this looks so handy to strip the stalk off! A friend of mine actually has one similar and it strips herbs too!

9. Strawberry Huller

Helpful kitchen tools for fruit & veggie lovers that make life easier! on chemistrycachet.com

I typically use this trick when I hull strawberries. This tool does the same thing, but much faster! I saw this on a cooking show as well, and they swear by it!

10. Zip Slicer

This is perfect for slicing up grapes or cherry tomatoes!

11. Mandoline

Last, but definitely not least, a mandoline! This is the best item for slicing things really thin like potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, even onions! I like this one for the protective cover on the top, so you don’t have to worry about slicing your finger!

What are your favorite little tools for fruits and veggies?

Ok, I am now sold on a few of these – especially for the peppers. I’ve always thought why buy something that I can do – but when it makes it so much easier, it is so worth it. PS – good to hear about the Kale, I’ve always wondered and was afraid it wasn’t that sturdy.

Oooo, gadgets… I love gadgets… I’m eying the jalapeno corer – not only for jalapenos, but for the small bell peppers too. I have one of the cheaper plastic mandolines, and it’s pretty good. Would an apple corer be as effective on a peach – similar shape and size? I bought a pineapple corer years ago; after coring, I’d still have to cut into slices. Droool…

I love them too! So many fun things! I don’t think the apple corer works as well for peaches since the pit is so big. I have tried before on small peaches and it was okay, but those really big ones don’t do well with the apple corer! This peach one has a really big opening for the pit 🙂
