First of all, I absolutely cannot believe Thanksgiving Day is this week!
Three words always come to mind for this holiday: peace, family and cozy. This is the peaceful holiday full of leisure and family time, which is really special.
We don’t always have cozy-ish weather in Texas, but we can always pretend 🙂 Traditionally, Thanksgiving Day starts bright and early for us. While we all gather around the kitchen to start cooking up the huge feast, you can invariably find my family drinking coffee and eating pie for breakfast. We NEVER eat a normal breakfast on Thanksgiving, always pie. And copious amounts of coffee 😉
I come from a LONG line of coffee addicts who like it straight up. I like it a little bit more jazzed up, so I always bring something fun to make. This year, I will definitely be making some Belgian Cookie Coffee for us.
Here are some more ideas to enjoy on Thanksgiving with your pumpkin pies, pecan pies, or your families favorites 🙂
