Today we are sharing some of the best smoothie recipes for inflammation, skin, and overall health!
Spring is just a few days away, which means I will be getting back into my smoothie game! I can’t wait!
I have trouble doing smoothies in the winter because it’s cold, but the minute spring approaches, I start incorporating smoothies each day.
The beauty of smoothies is you can pack a TON of healthy ingredients into one drink. I love making mine specifically for inflammation and skin health. All of these recipes I am sharing today are great for both, but also just overall health.
I have been asked on instagram recently about smoothie recipes, so I wanted to share this post!

The Best Smoothie Recipes for Inflammation, Skin, and Overall Health!
From Chemistry Cachet:
♦ Anti-Inflammatory Green Smoothie – This is number one on the list because it is my favorite for fighting inflammation in the body. It combines all the power house ingredients for lowering inflammation!
♦ Matcha Green Tea Smoothie – Another powerhouse for inflammation! Matcha is incredible for your health, but is great for inflammation around joints.
♦Banana Lemon Smoothie – This incredible smoothie is not only great for inflammation, but also really good for glowing skin. It combines lemon, collagen, and protein to work wonders for skin health!
♦ Chocolate Covered Cherry Smoothie – This is an OLDIE here on Chemistry Cachet. One of the first recipes I shared, but it is still an incredible smoothie option. Cherries are fantastic for health and fighting inflammation! Not to mention chocolate is too.
From Around the Web:
♦Pineapple Turmeric Smoothie from Jar of Lemons – I love this combination of pineapple and turmeric. Both are fantastic for inflammation!

♦Glowing Skin Smoothie from Simple Vegan Blog– the flaxseed content in this smoothie make it perfect for healthy skin!
♦Golden milk smoothie from love and zest – The main component for this smoothie is turmeric which is so great for joint inflammation!
How to Turn ANY Smoothie Into a Powerhouse for Joints and Skin:
The above recipes are some of my favorites to put together. They combine all the ingredients needed to help with inflammation, skin, and boosting your health in general.
However, you can use ANY smoothie recipe you love and turn it into something even better.
Here are some chemist tips on doing that:
Add Collagen
The easiest thing to do is add collagen to a smoothie. Collagen is great for skin, hair, and joints. In fact, it is probably one of the best things you can do for healthy glowing skin. Be sure to read this post on HOW to use collagen. Collagen needs Vitamin C to connect properly. Also, enjoy this collagen drink for something different.
Add Lemon
Add lemon to any smoothie to get amazing anti inflammatory benefits. You can juice the lemon, use the whole lemon, or make this lemon powder.
Lemon isn’t just good for inflammation, it is SO good for the skin. Read this post for more details.
Add Protein
This is so simple, but adding protein to a smoothie does wonders for your skin. Protein is something we usually don’t get enough of in our diets, but it plays an important role in connective tissues. When I started using more protein, the first thing I noticed was healthier skin and hair. I use plant based protein, but feel free to use your favorite protein. Adding one scoop to a smoothie will make a big impact! I like this protein.
Those three simple additions can turn any smoothie into the perfect drink for your skin, joints, and even boost your energy! These are the best smoothie recipes for inflammation, so I hope you enjoy trying some out or adding one of these ingredients!

Hello Alexis, thanks for sharing your knowledge. Which smoothie is the one you drink in the morning for inflammation? I suffer from multiple chronic illnesses including Fibromyalgia. There are good days and not so good days but the Lord is my strength. God bless you. Thanks in advance.

I do the first smoothie all the time, the anti-inflammatory green smoothie. Lately, I have also been doing the banana lemon smoothie. Those are my two favorite ones 🙂
